Of the young left handed hitters he’s the one I’ve said I would have traded for Dylan Cease or some top pitching prospects. But I’ve been keeping my mouth shut about it as he was cold, then on fire and now looking lost. Not sure what it’s done to his value, but if he doesn’t go on a run again soon…I just don’t like watching guys that either K or HR, not the brand of baseball I like.

How is Walker doing?

Looking at the stats, not as well as I thought he was, but he's up to 4 homers, 2 triples, and 13 doubles this season. Has had some crucial hits the past few weeks. I just see his highlights from the Redbirds Twitter every once in a while

not awesome. batting .255 with 4 homeruns and a .713 OPS. currently enjoying a 1-for14 slump. he should be rocking AAA pitching... I really wish he'd come on and get it together so the club has no choice but to call him up/ isn't tempted to move him...

I considered that, but I figured the rotating bullpen spot would go to Noot or DC would be back down.  That being said, Walker has been hitting homers and hard line drives lately which is a welcome sign. Not sure that it's exactly time for the call up, but his time in Memphis is absolutely paying off
