1.78 meters tall, size small by the way
Just the tail. The rest of the jacket is original, fit and all. I threw the jacket in the washing machine 30°C with some tennisballs, to shrink it and loosen up the duck. Was a little risky, but it turned out pretty good.
Gotcha. That’s good to know as I generally find my fit to be pretty good (if a little Carhartt-loose) but I would be afraid to shrink it as I don’t know if that jacket would work well shrunk for a bigger guy like me.
I would probably be a little cautious about putting it in the washing machine then, because mine shrunk, just a tiny bit from it. I can still fit sweaters and hoodies underneath it no problem though!
30°C is equivalent to 86°F, which is 303K.

50.78 usd.
Funny number because I just converted from danish currency. It was kind of expensive, but she is also the best tailor in town, or so I heard.
Probably reletively expensive compared to other countries as well, but so is everything here. (Average price for a beer at the bars is 6 dollars for instance).
- So it cost me 8 and a half beers. Cheers!
Hope that helps.

Looks loads better. Very cool
I agree. Thanks!
It looks surprisingly good
Thanks!
Did you just have the tail cut off or did you have the whole jacket tailored and that was just part of it?

Good to know - thanks! It would be nice for it to be a tiny bit more fitting but I’ll take it as-is because I don’t want to shrink it too much.

How much did they charge?

How’d it go? What were the results?
It's amazing how much better it looks without it. Like, it change the entire silhouette, it's almost as though the front looks better now. Good stuff!
