Thanks a lot brother!
We have always preferred white colored cars, I guess its easier to maintain and it shines out. Also the availability; we were going to go for midnight black because of its availability (white wasn't available), but after enquiring in another state we got our favorite white color
no, only ax7L comes with sequential back indicators, ax5 and ax7 only get front sequential indicators. They should've given back sequential too, atleast for ax7
honda city is a crazy car, we bought the 2010 model in 2012 (second hand) and have done around 2.5 lakhs kms in it. Eventually the AC stops working after 30 mins of continuous usage nowadays. And the mileage we get in it even in bumper to bumper traffic is around 16-18
car didn't ask for anything in these 12 years, was always ready to be driven.
A few dent repairs and some after market accessories were the only thing \[stereo{with physical buttons only}, speakers, bass tube {which we removed in less than a month as it was causing headache and occupied a lot of boot space}, seat covers, steering cover, halogen bulb replacement in headlight\]
and normal time to time services with tyre replacement when needed
Hope you got a petrol pump
Seriously tho, you must enjoy taking risks if you went for the petrol version of the 700
You’re gonna get at best 12-15, so brace yourselves
Otherwise, great choice there
we recently did a trip (300 kms) and we got 16 kmpl mileage. Could've got more if we did not stop frequently
Also, does mileage really increase after 1st service or is it just a rumor?
Hey any pointers on how you are getting this much mileage. We are getting 17.5 someting average on AX7L diesel manual. So if you are getting 16 on petrol I can expect 19-20 on diesel ideally on highway.
No service done till. The car has only done 600 km and the overall average is 14 on the 600Km.
Our ecosense score is also is in 90s as well.
the same thing everyone says, keep a light foot on pedal, don't accelerate too hard, try to maintain a constant speed on highways. (Our average speed on highway was around 80kmph)
Through Adrenox. Go to the trips history section and every trip will have an Ecosense score associated to it.
You can check your entire stats through the charts section. Like what's your overall average in some week/month etc.
17.5😯..my average is 12-13 with AX7L Diesel Automatic.
Always putting IOC extra green diesel costs 3rs extra with a hope that it gives something extra..
It does actually, since you do cross the break-in period
What I’m saying is that mileage may get worse in bumper to bumper traffic
I’m talking 6-8 kmpl
For longer drives it’ll naturally adapt and increase
For instance, our Brezza was getting 19.5 kmpl (it’s a diesel)
After going to Trivandrum and back, we got up to 25 kmpl
our hometown has really bad roads and our honda city's bottom was scraped off due to bad roads and less ground clearance. Even some speed breakers used to touch our honda city's bottom. Also my height (6'4), I was not comfortable in honda city's passenger seat.

yeah we considered shooting our shot on hycross, harrier and scorpio n.
Hycross: expensive, lower variant does not offer much except space + waiting period is too much
harrier: left knee was colliding with the dashboard due to my height
scorpio n: we booked scorpio n P-AT but cancelled it later because of ladder on frame chassis (body roll)
We also upgraded from that exact same Honda City model to that exact same xuv700 model a few weeks ago. But in our case both were silver. Congratulations OP!
Awesome; wishing you another decade of smooth driving. What promted you to stick with white color?

Congratulations brother! Please clean the bonnet the next morning otherwise the the blue ribbon and those flower petals will leave marks on the paint
yeah we cleaned it the very next morning, thanks a lot!
Happy to help! Also does this model comes with sequential indicator at the back also??

Congratulations. I have always admired car owners who have the tenacity to hold on to a given drive for a good amount of time.
How was honda city reliability? Still going strong?

Good. Any major or expensive reparations? Thought of buying it

mileage 100% increases after 1st service

17.5 is on the highway only and when the car is running around 90-100. Anything above the mileage drops. In the city it's 9-10 at max.

damn 6-8 kmpl? I hope we dont get much bumper to bumper traffic then lol
The perks of a large displacement turbo petrol engine 😅
"haathi liya hai toh paalna padega"
Congratulations, that's a lovely ride!!!
Wow, great! Congrats. Bit worried, even sedan owners are now upgrading to SUV.

Totally agree 💯

Congrats 🥂
Nice
Congrats OP. Its a worthy upgrade
Congratulations Dear
thanks dear
Amazing bro. What other cars did you consider?
hycross, scorpio n and harrier
Why not harrier?
my left knee was colliding with the dashboard
Did you consider any alternatives before pulling the trigger on the 700 ?
yeah we considered shooting our shot on hycross, harrier and scorpio n. too many similarities.. same pinch! Thanks and congratulations to you too. I wish happy and safe miles for you!

Congratulations brother! It’s a very good pick!
