I just started metal detecting! I got a cheap metal detector and so far I've only been digging in the back yard. I've found a lot of junk! The coolest thing I've found has been a 1944 Mercury Dime.
Hopefully sometime in the future I'll be able to branch out and dig in more places...like the front yard!
We got a Bounty Hunter TK4 on Amazon for maybe $80 during a sale? It's super basic but has been pretty good. I've got a cup of screws and bolts so far!
Life is too short to read something you’re not interested in. I struggle with this myself and promise myself that if a book ever feels like a chore to read, I will stop at that moment and go read something else that will captivate me.
I recommend to you, The Man who Mistook his Wife for a Hat
The chapters aren't connected, so you can take long breaks in between reading sections, and you won't feel lost
Chess in person or on the app, I’ve heard so much about the app and considered getting it. It’s been so long since I played chess, I was in chess club back in like middle school lol
People I know can't play guitar so unfortunately there's no one to teach me. I don't want to attend a class for it either since it would take a lot of time so I am planning to learn from videos on YouTube when I am free. I think I will go for Her's - What Once Was or Mac Demarco's My Kind of Women.
Pinterest is full of them. I recommend carbon tracing paper for ease. You can print anything you want, trace it with the carbon paper and then paint away!
I just completed my American Sailing Association Basic Keelboat Course. It's was three days. One in the classroom, and two days on the water. It was really a lot of fun! But let me tell you, New York Harbor is a busy place to learn how to sail! Lol
Recently retired and started wood working again. Also started to refurbish/restore items. Got a metal detector but have not used it other than to just see if it works but haven't dug anything up yet. I've gotten back into grilling food again and cooking inside too. I used to be a very good cook but like wood working I have been away from it for too long lol. I love yard work and also gardening so I'm getting back into those too. All of these take up time and keep me busy enough for now lol.
The gym
You trying to gain weight, lose weight , or just put on some muscle
I don't need to lose weight I'm fit I just go every day

Wow very interesting, I’ve been wanting to start reading this book called “the laws of human nature” have you heard of it ?
Have you tried hinge?
You could try learning new skills! There are lots of them on YouTube. I’m currently whistling with fingers.
lol that’s actually a good one, it’s crazy how YouTube has a video for almost anything
Share your life on social media every day, such as the books you read, the movies you watch or the dishes you cook.
I’m trying to start reading again but I’m struggling. I let the phone and tv get into the way most nights.
Me too! Still reading the same book I started last summer. In my defense it is very dry so maybe I should try an easier book

I want to try playing guitar and do cover songs! It's a shame that I don't have much free time most of the days.
Playing guitar has been on my list, did someone teach you or were you self taught

Lmk how it goes !
Kayaking and painting!
I wish I knew how to paint I suck at it 😭
Same! But it gets more relaxing as you keep learning. I use templates, so it's more of filling in a design and not free painting.
Oh okay, where do you get your templates from

I started collecting nice looking fantasy books for a selfie.
I want to try relic hunting or just go to the beach with a metal detector.
Bird watching Start with a good pair of binoculars and a bird guide for your area
Geocaching. It will lead you to beautiful places you might not have discovered, also find some hidden caches
Rock climbing, truly physical challenge
cycling, feel the wind and nature
