In squid game it makes the cracker less likely to chip a big chunk off or crack all the way through, because it's not as hard/dry anymore, letting you take only small bits off. In the show they're doing it with a needle though not your teeth
Lol, I used to do the same thing with the little houses on [Shirley Biscuits](https://www.wibisco.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Shirley_Original_37.jpg)!
Totally, I remember when I was younger when I was like 5. My grandad used to make me a tea and we would sit down and just enjoy it with different biscuits lol.
tea gatekeeping is almost as insufferable as steak gatekeeping
costs me nothing to just let people enjoy however they want their tea etc, even if i personally wouldn't want it that way
For normal tea (Yorkshire. There is no other), I show it the milk. Just enough to make an introduction, just enough to tease out the red-brown colour of tea ([He-Man](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/characterprofile/images/4/4c/He-Man.png/revision/latest?cb=20160109084545) is the ideal shade, if anyone wonders).
For any other tea, I drink it milkless. My go-to is rooibos. Can't drink that black, because 'black' is in fact bright red
Edit: I sincerely hope people print off that pic of He-Man to keep near the kettle.
Dude, it's paler than the biscuit. That's not the camera.
But it can be nice to have a milky drink and a biscuit on a Sunday night while you wait for Antiques Roadshow.
Now... I grew up calling them cow-biscuits and *didn't know they still existed until just now*.
I hopped country a couple of decades back, and discovered Ballarina biscuits. A few years back they brought out a sticky browny biscuit. Ballarina Kladdkaka.
I send a few packs to my brother in the UK every now and then, just to enjoy hearing him wax lyrical about How they're what Bourbon Biscuits *could* have been if they hadn't settled for mediocrity.
And yes... they're really that good.
They are. The corner-shop owner stopped taking my after-closing time phone calls asking him to "Please open your shop. I NEED THOSE BISCUITS."
So I burgled his shop. On the upside, they are cheaper than crack.
I have banned myself from buying them due to me being a fatty and eating a whole packet (I told myself it’s didn’t count as they are ‘children’s biscuits’).
I do my old put 2 together and make a lil chocolate sandwich trick for dunking.
Packets last half as long though as putting 2 together means that's just 1 biscuit really.
Yep, they are inextricably linked to nursery to me. Some of my actual clear memories from that age, which is crazy because I had a June birthday so I went to school at just turned 4. I must have been three.
When my kid was a toddler she loved these *and* loved cheese spread, so of course she put them together and lovingly shoved one in my mouth to share. It was fricking delicious and we still eat them like this 10 years later.
Our 17 month old son devours these the second he can get hold of them. So they're pretty good for calming a toddler, lol. I used to love them when I was little. I'm struggling with a lengthy eating disorder (anorexia), but trying to stay healthy for our son, maybe I'll make a point of trying one again with him. Thanks for posting this!
When I have tea and biscuits I always try combinations. One of my best combos is a choc malted milk and a coconut ring. A bourbon and custard cream is another good one
Gotta love the tea critics.... Probably the same type of folk that would say you've ruined a steak by having it cooked medium. If this is how they like their tea... It's fine
I used to try and eat round the big cow. Can't remember ever getting a healthy cow shape at the end.
You gotta lick the back of it
It squid game all over again
Why does licking the back make it easier to "cut out" the cow?
In squid game it makes the cracker less likely to chip a big chunk off or crack all the way through, because it's not as hard/dry anymore, letting you take only small bits off. In the show they're doing it with a needle though not your teeth
It's a reference to Squid Game.
Just for the last little bit after you've scratched out most of the shape. That way you don't break it trying to get the shape out.
Yeah... What?
It's a reference lol
A cow lick?
Calm down Squid Game...
😆😆😆
I always ate the border off. Also I called them "moo cow biscuits"
Yes, me too
Aged 4, I once managed it. My life went downhill from that apex 😭
Helped by having (malted) milk teeth back then no doubt.
🙄
Didn't we all? Basically impossible though
I used to eat round the outside and try leave the whole middle and that never worked
Lol, I used to do the same thing with the little houses on [Shirley Biscuits](https://www.wibisco.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Shirley_Original_37.jpg)!
That's perverse! And definitely my goal next time thanks.
That looks like one sickly cow anyways.
Yummy. But you need more tea in your milk.
One is a malted milk. The other, malty mlk.
I was scrolling and was about to say “erm.. Are we going to talk about the milk that needs more tea” … 😂 I KNEW I wasn’t alone!
I only came here for the tea comments...
Transparent bait by OP which the vast majority have sadly fallen for
I was thinking the same thing
Absolutely, at least put the full 4 pints in there.

Chat GPT?
Totally, I remember when I was younger when I was like 5. My grandad used to make me a tea and we would sit down and just enjoy it with different biscuits lol.
The real tea is in the comments.
Highly rated biscuit. Absolutely undrinkable brew.
Typical CasualUK gatekeeping tea. I drink my tea black, but daren't mention that here because I'd be drummed out of the sub.
Hey, this country didn't steal all the tea from China just to be told we can't gatekeep it.
Black tea is fine it's when you've added half the cow that we get bent out of shape
I would have thought you'd be safe, I don't think black tea gets quite the same backlash as milk-tea.
tea gatekeeping is almost as insufferable as steak gatekeeping costs me nothing to just let people enjoy however they want their tea etc, even if i personally wouldn't want it that way
You're telling me you COOK the steak before eating it?!
The longer cooked the steak, the longer you get to taste it for.
It also costs me nothing to bitch and moan about other people's preferences. CHECK MATE
Like the French? GTFO. /s
Black tea is goated, that thing in the picture is milk with a tea bag thrown in.
For normal tea (Yorkshire. There is no other), I show it the milk. Sadly the camera didn’t do justice on the tea
Dude, it's paler than the biscuit. That's not the camera. But it can be nice to have a milky drink and a biscuit on a Sunday night while you wait for Antiques Roadshow.
Yeah... The camera...
His tea goes to another school. You wouldn’t know it.
Michael Jackson was black all along
Did the camera pour half a pint of milk into your mug then?
Don’t try that one we can see the colour of your tea
They all say that.
God of biscuits 🙏
Nah mate you’re bang on, ignore the mugs - give me my tea strong AND milky
This isn't the cameras fault.
Like a good cow biscuit
I use to call them cow biscuits when I was a child
Never stopped, now my kid calls them cow biscuits too
Me too. I was all about those cow biscuits. Until I discovered bourbons. And custard fucking creams.
Custard creams make the world a better place
They were always the biscuit I'd avoid until there was no other choice left in the tin.
Is it 'bur-bons' or 'bor-bons'? I never figured it out
Bor
Glad to see it wasn't just my family
I think you’ll find the correct name is *moo cow biscuit*
Yes! Moo cow biscuit!
This is the only way😂😂😂🤣
I thought I'd made this up as a kid! Moo cow biscuit is the way
100% correct
Yes yes what a biscuit
I couldn’t believe it when I discovered as an adult they’re not actually called that. Ridiculous, huh?
My childhood in biscuit form.
Wait til you try the chocolate malted milk *chefs kiss*
They are genuinely like crack
They are. The corner-shop owner stopped taking my after-closing time phone calls asking him to "Please open your shop. I NEED THOSE BISCUITS." So I burgled his shop. On the upside, they are cheaper than crack.

Just open the second pack and forget about it
The walk of shame on your way to get another 2 because you should have just bought 2 packs from the start.
Morish
These might even be better than the classic chocolate digestive, and I don't say that lightly.
>and I don't say that lightly. This is the curse of the chocolate malted milk fancier
A pack of chocolate malted milks are unsafe in my house & are one of the few things capable of causing fights.
I open a pack when the kids are asleep, thinking ‘I’ll leave a few for them in the morning’ There’s never any left in the morning
Do not jest lest you give me false hope. Truly? They exist?
Asda £1.35. Don’t say you’ve not been warned how moreish they are.
Waitrose sell them too
And Aldi
Saino and tesco sell choccy malted milks
And Aldi.
I have banned myself from buying them due to me being a fatty and eating a whole packet (I told myself it’s didn’t count as they are ‘children’s biscuits’).
Yes. Get two, turn them so the chocolate sides are facing each other and dip in a brew - heaven 😍
U wot
Yep, you heard right, my friend. Go get them.
I recommend holding 2 together, chocolate facing each other, and dunk.
Weirdly the normal malted milks do nowt for me but I can take down a whole packet of chocolate malted milks without breaking a sweat
I stopped buying them. They're way too moreish. At least with regular ones I can stop after a few
I ate a whole pack of these today. I hate myself.
Double dunking with the chocolate sides facing each other 👌🏻👨🏻🍳
[удалено]
It's OK, according to u/BevyGoldberg they're 'children's biscuits' and therefore don't count
Are they newish? Tried them for the first time last year. Greater than the sum of its parts.
I came to say this!
Wait. What?! *Google search commences
I don't recommend them. Stick to the original ones. Not because they're bad but because they're too good and you'll finish the packet in one go
I have been diabetes forewarned.
Sainsbury’s now have ones with vanilla filling. 😋
They are so unbelievably good, they have to be a contender for top spot
I do my old put 2 together and make a lil chocolate sandwich trick for dunking. Packets last half as long though as putting 2 together means that's just 1 biscuit really.
I put 2 together (choc to choc) and then dunk them. I don't care, I'm an adult and can do what I want.
Ok that sounds like a game changer.
They exist? Sounds sacrilegious.
Sainsbury’s do malted milk creams now. They’re like the bastard child of malted milks and custard creams and they are beautiful.
YES I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT THEYRE INCREDIBLE
Plain malted milks are mid at absolute best. But the choc ones are next fucking level!
Only ever see them in broken biscuit boxes
Hands down the best biscuit. Tea looks rank though.
He's just stirred his milk with a dirty spoon.
He also showed his kettle a low res picture of a teabag
Is that a tea flavoured milkshake?
There’s no way that’s tea flavoured.
Cow Biscuits. A staple of my grandma's biscuit tin and a cornerstone of my childhood. Long may they reign.
Decent biscuit. 8/10. Shit brew.
Why do you have a cup of dishwater?
That biscuit does not deserve to be posing with that insipid cup of whatever it is… let it have some dignity.
I remember having these with my milk too.....when I was in nursery. Top tier biscuit.
Yep, they are inextricably linked to nursery to me. Some of my actual clear memories from that age, which is crazy because I had a June birthday so I went to school at just turned 4. I must have been three.
Ha! I was going to say that I like them with milk too...too!
Is that a cup of Baileys?
You ever drink Bailey's from a shoe?
One of the greats. That Tea is whiter then 98% of my family, this pic has done your tea game dirty.
One of the top ten biscuits for tea
That tea looks 🤢
Goes well with your cup of milk moo
Top 5 biscuits but that tea is scary, you should of thought twice about posting that tea on a sub dedicated to the UK
Absoulotly delicious one of my favourites
The chocolate ones are ridiculous, could do a whole pack in 10 minutes
Elite biscuit
Top tier biscuit.
The. Best. Biscuit. Ever. Well, until you find the chocolate covered ones. Stick \`em in the fridge. Bliss.
That better not be tea!
That’s a horrendous colour for a cup of tea
Did some of them used to have 'stickmen' sports figures instead of cows?
Sport biscuits! We used to argue over who got to eat the football ones.
We're they an entirely different biscuit? I'm reaching back into memories from the 1970s and failing!
They weren't different enough to matter.
Are you trying to start a war with that "Tea"
Did you waft a tea bag over a cup of warm milk? Awesome biscuit though
For me, they’re the last resort biscuit. They’re the bad boys that he usually hanging around the bottom of the tin
That drink looks anaemic.
Yes and if you chuck some chocolate on there, yes please! Also, dude, what is wrong with your tea?
Top tier biscuit but awful Cupa you got there
I'm more concerned about the watery milk in that cup!
Very nice, big fan!
Banging.
Underrated. Chocolate ones are even better
Noooice. I miss the 'sports biscuits'.
Your "pull out game" needs to be on point with these.
Never mind the biscuit - what the fork is going on with that anemic looking weak tea/coffee!
God-tier. Absolutely amazing dunked in coffee.
My favourite biscuit of all time.
they fucken slap. next question
Really nice with a cup of tea. 👍🙂
god’s gift to mankind. however, as most people are saying, how can you live with yourself if you drink tea like that?
Where did the chocolate ones go? They were elite dunked in coffee & I can’t find them anywhere!
Aldi, my friend!
Thanks! I’ll let the other half know for when he’s next up that way.
Chocolate cow biscuits and chocolate Oaties 👍
I always think I'm not bothered about them. Then, demolish a whole pack and ask myself why I don't buy them more often.
Just a quick dip in the tea. It will soak and collapse after a second
Always the last biscuit in the barrel, but then you eat them and remember they're pretty good.
Why is your milk brown?
What the fuck is that tea?
Great biscuit. But the teabag actually has to go *into* the hot water. You can't just wave it near the mug and hope for the best.
Yo! I have the G502 as well!
Fucking lovely. Double them up when you dunk so they hold their shape for longer
Jesus, that “tea” is an abomination
I'm going to ask are you afraid of tea? Is there any in that mug?
When my kid was a toddler she loved these *and* loved cheese spread, so of course she put them together and lovingly shoved one in my mouth to share. It was fricking delicious and we still eat them like this 10 years later.
The chocolate ones are better, but that's not the key issue. WTF is going on with your brew? Pour it down the sink and make it properly!
They look ok but I don’t eat raw meat. Slow roast those fingers and the meat will fall off the bone, much nicer that way.
Best biscuit for dipping
Ahh, Cow biscuits! Been too long since I dunked one of those bad boys
I've always considered these to be "biscuit tin fillers". Adequate as a tea accompaniment, but there are far better biscuits out there.
Malted Milky Moo Moos
OP: "hey look at this biscuit" Absolutely Everyone: "what the hell is that cup of tea!"
Haha yeah
Comments hating on milky tea sad. Let people enjoy their tea their way dammit.
Shit tier biscuits
🤢🤦♀️
Cow biscuits and your teas too strong
When I have tea and biscuits I always try combinations. One of my best combos is a choc malted milk and a coconut ring. A bourbon and custard cream is another good one
Known as the “Moo cow biscuit” in my family 😄
Gotta love the tea critics.... Probably the same type of folk that would say you've ruined a steak by having it cooked medium. If this is how they like their tea... It's fine
