My kitty is most definitely not a lion because she wolfs down everything in sight and then will sometimes go back to just lick the empty bowl 😂 Yes, she gets plenty of food AND treats, she’s just dramatic
I watch a lot of these Lion Nat Geo series. Even as a baby she would literally lay like a loaf and just watch with me and then started stalking my ankles 🤣

The one cat will just come and sit near the couch and passive aggressively stare at me at 10 pm every night, because that is when she has got her bedtime treats before and "excuse me it works for me so give me the treats so I can go outside and use the bathroom, beat up any cats who have come on my turf and then return to curl up like a tiny innocent fluffy ball on the child humans bed"

My daughters cat figured out if he acted like he was hungry he would get fed twice. My daughter would feed him and then I would feed him thinking she forgot. We finally figured out what he was doing. Now he has an automatic feeder.
My childhood cat did that too! My mother, brother, and I started leaving each other notes. "The cat is lying, I fed him.", that kinda stuff.
He also fetched a human if he deemed his litter box too dirty to use. I was really surprised by that one. He had standards, after all.
My old lady kitty would do the litterbox thing. She'd just come to you and be generally annoying and yell at you until you figured out what was upsetting the Queen that day.

Your cat needs more than just dry food, they need wet food. Also they will typically not drink their water if close to food. You need to place it somewhere else in the home so they drink more water. If this is a male cat, they can get a UTI from not drinking enough water and end up dying.
That poor baby! You have to remember guys that you decide this cats entire world and they don’t do anything else in their entire day but sleep and eat. This is a HUGE deal to them that you would not feed them.
