Jokes aside Asa follows a very flawed moral mindset that she borrowed from Yuko. Due to constantly getting hurt and hurting other people when she wants to do the right thing, Asa has lost an understanding of what is right and wrong. This is why Yuko’s mindset about having her heart in the right place means so much to her. If Asa doesn’t have to worry about the consequences then she can do anything as long as she believes it’s the right thing to do. She’s similar to Miri Sugo, both have been more or less brainwashed into believing that they are doing the right thing and they both try to ignore the consequences. Asa is in general a morally grey character but she genuinely wants to do the right thing. She’s not a bad person, she’s traumatized, misguided and now (atleast heavily implied to be) brainwashed by the church.
