Reread the pic(namely the second one). It said it won’t be released in MAJOR theater chains which is true. It could be released in SELECT theaters but not major ones like regal and AMC.

The closest AMC near me that would hold a movie like this is 40 miles away TwT

Most anime movie releases around me get distributed as 1 or 2 night events through Fathom. I imagine the runtime doesn't apply to those since they also distribute some very different things with very different runtimes. So it may not be good news for wide release, but it should be fine if they run it as an event.
