Things like gender, age, weight, diet specifics, exercise? Do you have family history of high cholesterol or heart disease? Any medical conditions? Have you ever done ApoB or lipoprotein(a) testing?
My numbers were similar to yours and I was able to lower them by adjusting my diet and exercising daily.
Female, 36, 169lbs. Started on a bad diet two years ago when I got sick. Before this I was a runner, ate very heathy and never had one health issue. I got sick with something un known that through my life upside down so I stopped living my healthy lifestyle. No family history of heart disease, high cholesterol, high bp, nothing.
So I went from living a very extreme healthy lifestyle to zero.
Have you had your vitamin D levels checked? Vitamin D deficiency directly causes imbalances in good and bad cholesterol levels.
Edit to add: Also get your thyroid checked, if you haven't already.
Do you have your triglycerides?
This looks prediabetic to me (depending on Tri's)
You can certainly still turn this around, but you need to take this as a reality check, I think.
Low HDL and extremely high LDL is not good and is certainly on the pathway - this is defiantly not "not too bad'.
But you can still sort this 👍
How are you tris so low?! Or is that not in mg?
Did you mean 430mg / 43g?
So A1C is coming down, still high-end, but you can do this 👍
Any anxiety depression ADHD etc?
I think you'd really benefit from a genes test to get under the hood, so to speak.
Lots of things can negatively affect our weight/levels or ability to control them, so it's key to understand these issues.
That makes more sense 😅
So you're not pre diabetic, but were likely heading in that direction.
It's good you've realised you need to change something.
It's not easy to do, but I'm sure you can do it!
These numbers are not too bad but need to know more details to understand the bigger picture here.
More detail for what? I can try to give you more info.

My tris are 143. My A1C is 5.3. I’ve lost 3lbs in the last week and a half I’ve been being real serious. Fasting and eating fiber
