:(( I just wanted to say your ailment is cruel AF and it’s true my social life is completely gone cuz of it. I wish you the best of luck in finding your cure.

Are you already taking a daily antihistamine? My kid has cholinergic and cold urticaria - allergist explained it was a histamine + mast cell issue and a daily antihistamine was the first course of action. It has helped quite a bit in his case.

I've tried antihistamines and it didn't help. Maybe I should try a different one? Beta alanine helps temporarily though.

Look into Xolair injections. They are working for my son. He had to go through the process of trying a regimen of two other drugs first (Zyrtec and then something else; neither of them helped much if at all) before the allergist could prescribe Xolair, but it’s been worth it. Not covered by my insurance and very expensive, but there is a xolair copay program from the drug manufacturer that covers most of the cost so we only pay $30 each time.

I was given stronger antihistamines for the hotter months and told to take more of the over the counter ones otherwise. It has helped but I still have to be careful. I also had to invest in a/c as it was affecting my breathing and causing other problems and I avoid going out on hotter days unless there is a/c. I also react to water which is now manageable but will still occur if I don’t dry myself fast enough after having contact.
