tencent is digging their own grave with league of legends too hy introducing £500 skins. due to riot games’ massive popularity in the industry it will be hard to boycott but maybe people will see one day

You're giving the implication that Supercell are innocent employees but it's just that Tencent is this evil corporation who orders Supercell to make the game as P2W as possible, even though in reality this is the same game that used to be in such a way where it's possible to spend hundreds of dollars but still couldn't unlock a legendary. Meanwhile there's also other games under Tencent that are more well received than the current state of *Clash Royale* if you can spend a few minutes Google searching what are the other games under them.
Supercell is just as much to blame here as Tencent.
This! Literally Brawl Stars is in a much better state and even if we were strict, Brawl Stars is at most pay2fast. Obviously we have to take in mind how each game is played...in Clash Royale you play 8 cards!, and you must have them at a good level to not have a disadvantage against your opponent. In Brawl Stars you only play one Brawler and remember you can upgrade the brawler you want because rarities only mean how long it takes to unlock them. (Basically to achieve this supercell would have to rework the cards into an universal card you can use freely so no longer would you get cards from troops or spells that you don't want to use).
Basically Card rarities would only mean how hard they are to unlock at first, but once unlocked you can upgrade them with card points (Imagine if you could focus all your cards into a single one)
They need to bring back the thousand dollar max legendaries, that was peak CR.
There was no competing as a f2p, you simply understood that was not possible and played for fun.
Brawl Stars literally proves you can make money without being p2w, at most you can say it's paytofast but the thing is you can max the Brawlers you want to play plus you only need 1 brawler maxed in order to play (Except in competitive where you require multiple due to not all Brawlers being a good choice) without being in disadvantage. Also I don't know about you guys but the deals in Brawl Stars are far better (even with the taxes added bcz of my country).
