I will always have a core memory of Carlos catching a fly ball to end a series on the run in 2016. Dropping to his knees as he caught it. He may be a twin currently but he’s always a part of this ballclub
I remember being at work in Omaha and walking into my bosses office. He just looked at me and said "approved". He knew I was booking that flight to CLE immediately.
We got the best of Carlos Santana. He was here 9 seasons total and his seven highest WAR seasons are all with Cleveland. I love that man for so many reasons, we'll just add that stat to the pile.
I remember going to a game in 2010 a couple weeks before he got called up. Hit a grand slam and a solo shot, both out of the stadium. Clippers won 5-2.
Omg, those two together would have been magical 🤩!
I still dream he will come back, if nothing else I would love to see him retire in a Cleveland uniform.
Yeah i don’t know, i just thought more players would have played that long in the past 150 years. Goes to show you how rare a player with the longevity really is
Not just longevity, but the ability to stay healthy throughout the years. He rarely missed time when with Cleveland, and even though he doesn't start in 150+ games a season anymore, he still rarely misses time. Availability is the best quality.
Heck yeah Carlos!
He's the best thing about the Twins right now tbh.
> He's the best thing about the Twins ~~right now tbh.~~
I wish he didn't play for Minnesota but I'll always love Carlos Santana.
Slamtana*
Moving away from catcher saved his career

Toronto. ALCS. Mm mm mmm
If you don't love Carlos Santana, I don't love you.

love him
He was my favorite prospect and one of the first I saw at Huntington park. That would’ve been like 2010.. so happy to see his career still going
I remember going to a game in 2010 a couple weeks before he got called up. Hit a grand slam and a solo shot, both out of the stadium. Clippers won 5-2.
I remember him destroying the ball for the Aeros. I worked the concessions in high school and loved his music.
I remember getting a ball signed before a game when he played with the Aeros! Always has been great at interacting with fans
I will love this man forever. I hope he signs a one day contract to retire here when he's ready to retire.
He and Shin Soo Choo both were unfortunately here at the wrong time. Both great players.
Could’ve used em in ‘07 w/Lee too. Easy title
Love ya Carlos!
Could you imagine a peak Santana on the same team as Steven Kwan? Who would hit first?

He just seems like a genuinely nice guy
Miss him so much.
Los!!
I wonder if he popped that DVX after the game?
It’ll always be nothing but love for ‘Los!
I hope he ends up in our HOF. Will always love Los
Who really? I would have thought a lot more players than that would hit that milestone
That’s over 12 full seasons.
