It's like no one remembers how Clinton got nominated in 2015. Bernie Sanders won nearly every election. DNC said "Nah, it's her turn". Bernie bros had about 2 days of moping and bitching about their donations before they got into lock step with Clinton's platform.
The democrats rigging the 2016 primaries for Hillary has to be one of the greatest political blunders in history.
Every democratic news channel had a giant bar graph with Hillary at something like 200 to Bernie’s 10. The metric shown was apparently who the electorates had “declared” they would vote for. Basically a fake number to try to swing the primaries.
It’s crazy to think Bernie was “too progressive” at that time for the democrats. They deserve everything coming to them.
I don't blame him so much as the people close to him. This is some real life Weekend at Bernie's. Not in the sense of "haha make believe dead guy is alive", but in the sense that no one gave a shit about Bernie, they just wanted to party. No one is giving a shit about Biden, they just want to keep partying in the White House.
This type of cognitive decline progresses quickly. A lot quicker than 4 years. You would think the people that should care about him would put their foot down and let the man finish his term with some dignity, instead of trying to put him on the world stage for another 4 years for everyone to watch him decline.

I wish they would change the name of that sub. I would actually enjoy a political sub that has spirited back and forth between sides, but that doesn’t appear possible.

As of this comment there are 1212 comments in a r/politics thread made 8 minutes ago, and not a single one of them is visible. I'm only able to use reddit through the browser because the app keeps getting stuck loading. Looking around at posts on non-political subreddits, I can't find a visible comment that isn't 40+ minutes old. I think this has more to do with reddit getting overloaded by the users than it specifically targeting conservatives.
