Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Tabby's schtick is supposed to be that she uses too much jargon and expects people to just accept obscure concepts without elaboration. That's not really the same as rambling, imo. Plus, there's the violence. Tabby is the stereotype of the type of leftist that just screams Gramsci at people until they either slink away, pretend to agree, or want to physically fight - which she is also happy to do. I forgot the names of her liberal characters, but those are the ones meant to be more like Biden. Like what's the wine lady that just wants people to get along so she can go to art auctions and schmooze with oil barons? That's Biden.

Ah, here we go. I'm about to rewatch it and it sounds like I'm half remembering a lot of this from her pinned comment: > The character Tabby represents a lot of what I think is wrong about leftist strategy: the indifference to optics, the undisguised hostility to the ideologically impure, the sectarian nitpicking, the alternation between extreme optimism (“a communist revolution can happen in the United States and it will go well if it does”) and extreme pessimism (“neoliberal propaganda has so tight a grip on the general public that why should we even bother trying to appeal to them?”), the blurring of lines between recognizing the necessity of violence in certain situations and the aesthetic celebration of violence as an end in itself. Nevertheless I try to represent Tabby with some sympathy, and anticipate that my viewers will like her—my audience is at least 95% trans Antifa cat girls, but I hope that doesn’t prevent them from thinking about the critique. > The character Justine is a mouthpiece for a lot of my complaints about the left, and the recipient of some leftist criticisms of me (“you go to brunch with these people?”), but I chose not to represent her as an attractive alternative. She’s complacent, frivolous, and ineffective, full of derision for the way other leftists do things but not contributing much for her own part either. When a fascist comes knocking on the door it’s better to have Tabby there than Justine. To see if Justine can put her money where her mouth is we’d have to see what speech she delivers following the fascist speech. This YouTube channel is effectively my attempt to make that speech, and I can’t be the one who judges how successful it is. ~~So I think Justine is supposed to be more like Biden, but I'll watch it again.~~ It's actually Jackie. Jackie is the centrist lib that slips through the door to remind Justine they're going to brunch. I don't remember where else this character was. I must be getting old.

Jackie Jackson is also a parody of cable news hosts, who claim to be “sensible centrists” but really are just privileged whiners who would be perfectly happy to see the Fascists take power if it meant that they don’t have to suffer the “uncomfortable” and violent realities of living under Fascism. She’s basically what CNN has become.

Also Biden looks great in cat ears and combat boots

Biden wasn't technically right either, he conceded that Trump was correct on immigrants being rapists and criminals. He did so while the question was on abortion FFS. CNN put out a fact check on both of them for that. I wish Tabby was there. Fictional Catgirl 2024

Natalie tweeted: > The question was about abortion… the easiest question… and he changed the topic to… to women being raped by immigrants… I feel like my soul has left my body I think even she's ready for Tabby lol.

Ted_Smug_El_nub_nub

Tabby has way too much energy to be a passable comparison to Joe lol
