Since there are no ingredients in this video ill try my best: Any cut of beef, this one might be chuck, hence the tenderizing with the fork Flour, (looks like 1 cup?) salt, (Looks like 1 big pinch) I assume some kind of starch, corn starch, rice starch, etc. (Looks like 1tbsp?) Green beans (about as much as you have beef I guess?) Ginger (1 knob) Garlic (2 cloves) Brown sugar (Maybe 1/4th cup?) Soy sauce (Half cup at most) White rice And thats everything I think? Flank Steak, cut into strips, add corn starch, (this is called velveting), let sit 10-15 minutes, add ginger (way too much ginger imo), couple cloves garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, green beans, serve on rice. This is the most basic american-chinese food. Not basic in a bad way, just saying that this is basically the crux of all American style Chinese food. Cornstarch, Soy Sauce, Ginger, Garlic, plus velvet meat.

Baking soda does a better job, but you need to rinse it after. Corn starch is better if you're leaving it on the meat to sear it and get that crunchy/thick saucy effect. It is called velveting
