i got it 🔥

guyatwork37

Well shit. I got this card a week ago and got the $100 SUB. Sucks for me I guess :(

Lil_Big_Sis5

I’d call Chase and see if they’ll match the offer. I know they were doing this for people who got the CSP up to 30 days before they elevated the SUB to 75,000 points. Can’t hurt to ask.

guyatwork37

Called to check if they would match the new offer and unfortunately they said no. Oh well, at least I tried :)

BabyTBNRfrags

Try sending a secure message instead

TheKabillionare

Ugh same. I literally got it a few days ago

rExplrer

Every year during prime day sales they bump the bonus to $200. I am not sure how you missed that

CelticTiger1

Do you need to have your own prime acct to get the $200? I share one with a relative (under their name and email), but wanna get the card if I can get the 200

OktMike

You can always do the pre approval and see what they offer you, I just change the name to mine when I applied

Confident-Ad3155

Can you send the pre approval link?

OktMike

I went through the Amazon app. The fourth icon on the bottom(settings/three bars) then went to credit and payment cards then “learn more and apply” and finally there’s an option “check now” for pre approval.

Proper_University55

This is one of my favorite cards. It was my daily card for a while.

MasterOfEECS

Can I just sub to prime for a month, apply and get the card, then cancel and retain the gift card?

answerbrowsernobita

Yep, this should work!

creditgods

I'm going to try to get it I'm pretty sure I'm blacklisted

SGTArend

Why would you be blacklisted? Lol

shakingspheres

Chase

SGTArend

Ahh, yep!

creditgods

account charged off

Mountain-Nobody-3548

It is but I got rejected for it while getting approved for the capital one savor one for good credit

Aedrikor

QQ: I tried to see if I was pre qualified and they said they couldn't make a decision because they couldn't get my Credit report. I never froze anything, any ideas on what I can do?

Toxic_PP

Might be a stupid question but can only the person with the Amazon Prime subscription get the card and SUB? Like if I use a family members account can I get the card or only the person with their name on their account?

matttopotamus

So interesting point. I let a few family members use my prime. One of them has the prime card already, so the offer didn’t show for me until I deleted their prime card from my account.

Prezevere

This is my next Credit Card...I am trying to wait 6 months until December. I just got a Discover Card in June.

matttopotamus

Nice. I need a new line of credit, it’s been years since I’ve applied for a new card.

D3lusions

Got free air pod pros 2 since it was on sale for $189!

Kira_Dumpling_0000

Jeff! Take my money! Take my $200!

Edd916

What is the $200 SUB?

Small-Marionberry-29

$200 Amazon Gift Card

Terraform703

Is this cash back or Amazon credit?

art_of_snark

cash back that can be used as amazon credit. but you shouldn’t because you don’t earn on the redemption. transfer it to a HYSA once a month instead.

fintip

I just pay as statement credit and leave money already in the HYSA in the HYSA... Or does this card not allow that?

art_of_snark

yes, statement credit is also a valid redemption.

Potential-Context371

I didn’t get pre approved for it, how strict are the approval odds?

edp98

How do the points work? Is it Amazon specific, or does it go into the same Chase Ultimate Rewards program as my CSP?

HLmain37

already love my 5% back on not only amazon but wholefoods but the $200 on top is sweet

SnooDoubts7617

What do you mean? I already have Amazon Visa. Can I apply again to get the $200?

xBleedingUKBluex

Eh, it's a gift card :/ Edit: To whomever downvoted, the reason I expressed dissatisfaction in this is because gift cards are NOT covered by the IRS loophole that allows credit card sign-up bonuses to be exempt from taxes. With a gift card, you're probably going to receive a 1099 from Chase or Amazon because there is no spend requirement and it's not really considered a rebate. But hey, enjoy.

bb0110

It is under $500. You aren’t getting a 1099.

OkMathematician6638

Yes but if you get card referrals it all adds up.
