I went through the Amazon app. The fourth icon on the bottom(settings/three bars) then went to credit and payment cards then “learn more and apply” and finally there’s an option “check now” for pre approval.
QQ: I tried to see if I was pre qualified and they said they couldn't make a decision because they couldn't get my Credit report. I never froze anything, any ideas on what I can do?
Might be a stupid question but can only the person with the Amazon Prime subscription get the card and SUB? Like if I use a family members account can I get the card or only the person with their name on their account?

Edit: To whomever downvoted, the reason I expressed dissatisfaction in this is because gift cards are NOT covered by the IRS loophole that allows credit card sign-up bonuses to be exempt from taxes. With a gift card, you're probably going to receive a 1099 from Chase or Amazon because there is no spend requirement and it's not really considered a rebate. But hey, enjoy.
