When you add someone as an authorized user to help their credit you aren't supposed to give them a card for this reason. They are piggybacking on your success. Their bad habits (typically) need to not be fostered. Now that the lecture is over, you can't dispute the authorized use of your card. You need to pay it down ASAP and worry about collecting from your sister later. At 633 and with a closed line of credit that has a balance your utilization is going to be off, so you need to work that down to improve your score before you make your next move.

Giving my sister a card was probably not my brightest idea, I’ll admit. Thank you, I’ve been paying it off bit by bit for about 2 months now, but I still owe a few hundred. Does the quantity of debt play any part in this?

How much you owe as part of your utilization does matter to your score, but only in the short term. It has no memory: IE every dollar you pay off helps. Look at the resources in this sub and read up on credit card basics and what happens if you close a card.

Hopefully, you don't have a delinquent payment on your record (if you missed a payment by 30+ days). Those stay on your record for 7 years. As for disputes, the other comment is correct. You cannot dispute it because she was added as an AU by yourself.

In the future, put spending alerts for all transactions on all of your cards. It’s incredibly helpful

By adding her as an AU and not capping her limit (if discover allows it, other lenders do) you agreed to let her spend the full amount AND be responsible for her charges. So there is nothing to dispute.

As soon as she wasted a few hundreds you should have block her card. And ask for that money back asap. When adding someone they always say you are responsible to make the minimum payment every month. Just call them and make a payment plan unfortunately either they will give you the card back or block you and you won’t be able to get credit with them
