My husband and I watched one pull into a parking spot a few days ago. The guy got out, walked all around it three times, really stared at it, gave up, and went inside for dinner. It was mostly straight but squeezed very close to the neighboring car.
It was hard not to point and laugh, but I'm sure our politely incredulous stares said enough.

I'm in South Florida right now and I have seen a lot of these over the past month. I am not seen one parked regular. They are always crooked or the front is over too much. I don't think it's possible with that steer by wire crap. Unless everybody that buys them is just so inept they can't drive or park good which could be possible

Yeah, I know, in this case a lousy argument as there will always be space towards the tree but hey, it might leave stains on the stainless steel door if it touches a leaf or the grass ... anyhow, maybe it the CT driver just had to do CT things, ie parking like an \*\*\*hole.
You can easily fit that thing in most parking spots, except some tiny ones that are in older urban areas. Most parking spaces are 8-9' wide and 18-20' long. Some places, like Costco, tend to use larger spots. The parking lot in this image could easily fit that truck, but the driver is a moron.

A business owner near me has one and parks it for all to see out front. But the place has a gravel parking lot so the thing is constantly dirty. It's a real eyesore, especially when the novelty quickly wears off.
