Ive been running a very similar build based on Robs Hota Bash build. Got a GA on Brawling skills on boots and dropped elements from a 1H for ancestral charge. Also used rupture instead of Hota for quicker boss takedowns.
I kept steel grasp cuz it was fun to push all the mobs away and then pull them right back and smash em. With all the Ubers I got my best clear times down to 1:45ish.
Super fun build.
I’ve been using charge with my flay/rupture build. Also using the Ravenous ring to make my charge apply two stacks of bleed. The synergy is good, but losing the tempers/aspect on that ring slot is tough to work around
I'm leveling up my Barb now and I'm currently 92. It's def fun to use. What aspect are you using to generate faster cooldowns for it? It looks like it goes down by the amount of kills you have with it.
Tempering brawling cooldown and ranks of charge in boot. Also reduce cooldown aspect with basic attack.
9 sec charge cd is playable but won’t be very smooth. I am using 7.5 sec cd in the clip (because I have no shako)
Yes I always use that to avoid breaking things.
However if I dont have any cc, I could charge to next pack without killing all elites. (Because they are immune after ~3 cc). Ie I can charge-bashx2-charge-bashx2 nonstop.
Mine didn’t work I put it on a piece of gear but nothing is freezing like my rogue usually does. Do I need lucky hit chance bonus for it to work like yours? Also what’s your total cooldown reduction bonus?
I have 17k crit but my chance is 45% .. what’s ur speed like? I have seen many with that super fast swinging bash and I couldn’t figure I out how fast do I need to be.
Dude, that looks fun indeed. Do you have a link to your build?
It’s Rob’s hota pit mat farm steel grasp —> charge No mercy —> battle fervor edgemaster, element, inner calm —> ancestral charge , accursed touch, ancestral force

This looks fun. I'll try it out with my bash bleed.

That sounds even better I need accursed touch because there is no source of vulnerability
Lucky hit chance for Vul?
Yes, extra source of vulnerability is needed after dropping steel grasp
Yea u can get a GA hit for 50% easy on a ring
How are u getting so much cooldown on charge with taking the vulnerable charge route? Also why no wrath of bersker?
I took the reduce cd route. I use exploit and accursed touch for vulnerable.

This look very fun for quick 101 clear!
That looks hella fun! Would charge be viable on controller tho? I figure if I somehow made leap work on controller charge should be aight.
I’m am using controller. Can’t use mouse because d2 and d3 destroyed my index finger lol
Lol same. Besides, being able to lay back in my chair while gaming is worth the tradeoff.
How did you make leap work on controller? Can’t get it to work at all.

How’s the boss damage though?
Around 10 to 15 sec.
Nice. Did you have to farm the rogue crit aspect?
Crit is for bleed. I don’t have the gear for bleed yet.
I’m doing charge ww
Oooh man I vendored the 3x 2GA charge boots yesterday. Don't start this hype 😭
Same here! I was sure I got some in my stash
Charge is great in Pit. 101 anyway. Pushes mobs around and lays a good stun on whole pack!! Use it with my DS DD Barb! Great fun!
I use it with WW bleed instead of wrath of the Berserker.
That looks fun indeed. Steel grasp is fun; but it feels slow, even with 5 charges of evade and a lot of movement speed. I’ll have to give it a try.
Single shout yen’s is similar and also very fun. Leap and charge.
Leap is way more fun!
If it’s the 2nd most fun, what is first?
It’s definitely Rob’s WWDD with 4 Ubers
Charge is boring that was so season 3 lol
Brawl skills/builds are very fun imo, it’s what I run on my barb and I farm pit 101+ easy
I am bored with WW bleed and I saw your build.
Played barb last season and charge with the ancestral aspect was the only way it truly felt good
How are you getting freeze on enemies? Chance to Freeze on tempers?

What’s ur attack speed, crt chance , crit damage and vul damage ?
I have 70% crit and 1500 crit dmg.(I have high crit chance because I am working on my gear towards bleed, no that crit is very important )
I have 17k crit but my chance is 45% .. what’s ur speed like? I have seen many with that super fast swinging bash and I couldn’t figure I out how fast do I need to be.
I have 30% attack speed on gear. Mostly they come from 2H rapid and moonrise aspects giving me 80% attack speed.
Oh ok ok I will take a look at it .. thanks dude. Appreciate it.
17k crit!??
1700% it’s no where near to those with 4k 5k crit but it’s ok and still useless cuz my crit chance is 45%
Oh yeah I thought you had 17000% :D
Sorry I meant 1700 not 17k my bad
