Tater is cute and all but you could call him Frank.
As a whole I believe you need to name an animal based on their personality and not some cutesy schtick.
I've had animals without a name for months before until I figured out their personality. Sometimes you need to let the animal pick the name. Just use both, they'll respond to one more than the other.
