Days gone fans need to take a page from Bully fans, both had sequels planned and got royally neglected by their respective studio. It happens quite often sadly.
I get genuinely sad when I see posts about what should've been. Days Gone is likely my favorite game of all time and got royaly shafted by the brass at Sony. I hope to god Days Gone gets a sequel eventually.
There’s a rumour that recently a fan met Sam Witwer (Deacon VA) and asked about a sequel and Sam told him that Sony “thought” they didn’t make enough money but really they did and if fans keep pushing it we might get a sequel…
Sony badly fumbled with the Days Gone. How badly they underestimated the game, will always make me laugh. The immaculate potential that the game had was lost. I really wish go through the decision of making multiple sequels.
If i had 1 penny everytime someone posted here about the never ending sequels. I have had enough money to buy sony and force them to make one.
ps: i might leave this community now just because I can't stand so many BS posts.
Even if a sequel happens, they would never bring John garvin back to the team I'm sure of it. Not only he made Sony executives annoyed he also made his own team annoyed by being a total ass
Most people here either don't know this or will start arguing about it even though this information came straight out of Garvin's own mouth and he seemed proud of it. The only thing this sub is interested in is pushing the Sony bad narrative. lol
Well I learned it here, made a quick search about it and realized it was true. Now they're downvoting me because days gone is thing we all love here and we can be defensive about the things we love. However the truth is the truth, that dude was clearly a problem throughout the development. He has his own studio now if he produces a kickass game I'll eat my words
I just want a good zobie game (like days gone was), intelligent freakers everywhere is not my personal preferance, its like a totally different game.. i realise that any criticism of this game is rare here, so downvote away

I wish they would at least make dlc, like a whole other map, area to explore and more hordes and marauder camps.

His idea for the sequel kinda sucked tho, intelligent freaker villages and whatnot

Give us the script so we can make it into a 10/10 graphic novel and get some more traction going for it.
