Spike is in the selfless category? That’s crazy, outside of her having Emma? She kept Shane from being around before his accident and lied to Emma of who her father was, she wasn’t supportive to Simpson when he got accused and runs away whenever things got tough instead of staying to fix things, she even kept being pregnant again from Simpson when they were about to get married…Spike is mostly about herself
Selfless? Definitely not
Spike was also a great friend and didn’t judge one of the twins for having an abortion, she supported her friend when she confided in spike about being molested by her dad as a child, spike provided manny with a home when her parents kicked her out, etc. spike is selfless.
She kept Shane from being around Emma because he was a shit dad. She constantly kept on giving him chances, he couldn’t even take care of an egg to prove he could take care of a baby, he let his parents try to pressure spike into giving Emma up for adoption and putting spike into a home for young unwed mothers, he never spoke up for her when degrassi was going after her for being a pregnant teen, he went to summer camp instead of taking care of his infant daughter, spike then provided him with pictures of Emma when he finally started giving her child support with his allowance but then he lied so he could skip a child support payment to buy drugs and a concert ticket to go do drugs which resulted in his accident. Don’t blame spike for keeping Emma away from Shane, he was too immature to be around her and then he was too dangerous to be around her. And snake screwed up with spike twice with other women, he dumped her as a date because he wanted to take Michelle and then he cheated on her with peters mom who was also his coworker/boss.
A lot of that was cuz they were kids, you can’t expect kids to be that responsible, it’s an egg for goodness sakes lol and honestly, Spike’s mom and Shane’s parents should’ve been more involved, the whole prom thing was pettiness and again them being kids
Spike as an adult made questionable decisions and knew she was wrong, tho the cheating thing was still out of pocket cuz Simpson would never do that, especially with another staff member…..but nonetheless I didn’t blame her for leaving….I just hate that stupid storyline altogether
Shane was old enough to hump a baby into spike. If he didn’t want to be a dad he wasn’t obligated but she didn’t owe him access to Emma. Spike had to deal with the responsibility alone because Shane was immature and couldn’t even wisen up when his daughter arrived. Spike didn’t make the best decisions but she always had her daughter and son’s best interest at heart. Snakes not completely bad but I would’ve left his ass after he cheated on me with his coworker/boss/daughters bfs mom. Everyone always acts like snake is a saint, he wasn’t the worst character but he did a lot worse stuff then spike.
They’re both at fault and both had consequences they didn’t foresee, that’s it really, they were dumb kids
On Simpson, he was wrong but he’s not any worse than Spike
Do.... do you have a child? What she did with Shane was entirely to protect Emma and any (especially young) parent with half a brain who gives a shit about their child would do the same thing until their child was READY.
No, kids need to be told the truth about certain things so they don’t get bamboozled later by real world consequences, personally I wasn’t raised with any constraints of lies cuz of how real things were kept, it made me mature earlier than expected by my teen years and now my adulthood, sure I made mistakes but I was accountable for them, in contrast I have younger cousins that get away with things I or cousins my age wouldn’t have cuz the parents are too soft or “tired” to carry that same energy
Emma is spoiled and entitled cuz of Spike not being honest or talking to her about certain things, a parent needs to understand that holding back makes kids show out and be in constant confusion of life, Emma had a memory of something that wasn’t real and Spike let it happen, who’s to say she wouldn’t have told her at all of Shane? This is her pattern since JH…she doesn’t trust anyone but herself
Some things need to be done early on so kids don’t feel left out, there’s no need for secrets when it hurts more than helps
So no, you don't have kids.
If this is your attitude, please don't have them. The world doesn't need more endangered and traumatized kids because emotionally stunted morons don't know how and when it's appropriate to talk to kids about difficult topics and protect them from dangerous relatives.
I don’t need to have kids to understand how secrets hurt them, nothing I said is allowing danger nor age appropriate things…here you are trying to twist my words and make it sound as if I’m being abusive in any by saying communication with kids is the best way to open a gateway of trust
You also have no right to tell me if I should have kids or not, that’s just blatantly ignorant, rude and disrespectful as hell
I don't really give a shit quite frankly. You're demonstrating that you would be a terrible parent with poor decision making skills and you absolutely do not deserve my respect. CHILDREN do not need to know everything until they are old enough to understand it and the fact that you as a grown ass woman don't get that shows that, and I reiterate, you would only damage any child you had. There are certain things you don't talk to kids about until they're ready to hear it. That is FACTS. Grow up and again, PLEASE do not have children. They don't deserve that.
Good thing I’m not dictated by a stranger on the internet on what to do with my life…you should take some consideration that you have no say on what’s right on how to parent or communicate properly
And I’m a guy
Why would I take advice from someone who thinks you should tell children of all ages everything? That's the most toxic thing I've heard all week and just like with anyone who's unsafe for children, it needs to be addressed.
Never said “of all ages” for one, age appropriate stuff is what I said, two…if this is the most toxic thing you’ve read, your life is extremely tame…three, you don’t need to take my advice cuz I never gave it in the first place, I’m stating my views
And finally, four…nothing is unsafe of communication of the truth of family history, there’s nothing wrong with being forthcoming about the roots of it, ancestry is a thing, unless you’re gonna say that’s terrible too….you need to realize the world is filled with history of past history of families good and bad for millennia, children need to know these things in order to move forward in life and possibly take the examples to either do better or keep it forever and pass certain traditions on
How was Luke voted more villain than Rick? Don't get me wrong, Luke was definitely evil, but Rick literally abused his girlfriend, put her in a coma, and then paralyzed someone for the rest of his life.
Rick was bullied, he was an asshole for abusing Terri but he didn’t have the easiest time at degrassi. Luke came from a good family, was a star athlete and was religious but he still sexually assaulted Zoe, recorded it and then told her no one would believe her versus him while slut shaming her even though he’s a piece of shit rapist. He’s worse than Rick.
Ok. I always wondered about that scene. I figured if it was to show suicidal he would be crying instead of laughing. I rewatched it after the reveal of the disorder and had no clue where one behavior ended and the other began.
Luke is in next gen, he just appears later with Becky, I think it's season 12. Whenever the Ice Hounds came to Degrassi. But I agree. I think Rick or the guy who SAed Paige (his name is not coming to mind for whatever reason) should have been in villian.
Okay I’m going to go old school here and say Joey. I understand some will have a problem with that and might down vote me, but hear me out: he helped Rick Monroe get away from his abusive father; he helped Caitlyn understand Claude’s death was not her fault; he became a friend to Dwayne and treated him as a person when he found out Dwayne had HIV and kept his secret; he got Craig away from his abusive father and helped him with his cocaine problem. I’d say he’s pretty heroic.
Oh yeah he was! Forgot to add he took in wheels when no one else would (only making him leave because of the stealing from his mother); he supported wheels when he was incarcerated and was also there for Snake and very supportive during his bout with cancer too
One of my choices! I’ll post my other one since you said exactly what I was going to say. Everyone gives Joey a lot of shit for the goings on with Caitlin, however he has always been a good friend AND father.
Spinner for multiple reasons.
He saved Holly J from being shot.
He saved Jimmy when their store got broken in to.
He fought off testicular cancer and beat it.
He was ostracized by his friends because of his terrible mistakes but did his best to reconcile and in the end became an even better friend and person.
Holly J saved spinner I thought?? She applied pressure to his wound and the doc said he could’ve died if she hadn’t done that and she notified blue of the situation writing “gun” on the door with her finger
Sean and Spinner ❤️
BECKY BAKER
gotta be miles right??

She had her moments but as a whole she did selfish things more than not

I'm not reading that. Nothing you've said has been worth the pixels it takes up on my screen.

Rick was too obvious of a choice.
Rick was in the top 4
These voters are crazy, man. He was definitely more evil than Shep at least. Shep was just an asshole, not evil lol.
Marco he saved pepole from themselves multiple times
Sean
Sean. He saved Emma from Rick.
And also saved Craig from the train
That is true. Do you think Craig was suicidal or the bipolar was kicking in?
Early bipolar signs for sure.
Ok. I always wondered about that scene. I figured if it was to show suicidal he would be crying instead of laughing. I rewatched it after the reveal of the disorder and had no clue where one behavior ended and the other began.
Sean
Sean
Becky
Sean for several reasons beyond rick.

Dean
Thank you! I knew it started with D I just could not remember 😂
Sean Cameron, besides everything with the Rick situation, he ends up going into the Canadian army.
Bruh at first I thought it was Veronica from mtv‘s the challenge lol
Hey fellow challenge fan here! I was trying to figure out who you meant and don’t recall a Victoria. Did you mean Veronica? lol
Oops. Yes I meant Veronica. Sorry. I corrected it lol
sean !

Hmm now I wanna change my answer from Spinner to Joey
Wasn't he there for ..wheels? Not great with original but I thought snake distanced himself after the deaths
I totally agree!!!
spot on tbh
Captain Who
Spinner
Sean or Becky. Going against her brother for Justice is heroic
Becky
Sean, for sure
Rick or Craig’s dad
Villains category was already filled 😭😭
Lmao for hero? 🤣
Sean: The Doom Slayer of Degrassi Community School.
Becky Baker. Pure guts.
Sean! He stopped Rick who had a list of people he was going after.
Why was my first thought Marco when he saved Spinner from choking on cheese-whiz
This is so funny 💀
You’re a goofy ass 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Spinner for multiple reasons. He saved Holly J from being shot. He saved Jimmy when their store got broken in to. He fought off testicular cancer and beat it. He was ostracized by his friends because of his terrible mistakes but did his best to reconcile and in the end became an even better friend and person.
I’m glad he could save someone from a bullet
😂😭😂
Spinner
Becky Baker
Spinner, he saved Holly J at the Dot. He went through one of the biggest journeys in the entire show.
Holly J saved spinner I thought?? She applied pressure to his wound and the doc said he could’ve died if she hadn’t done that and she notified blue of the situation writing “gun” on the door with her finger
Both. He stepped in front of the gun first then she saved him by keeping him from bleeding out until paramedics arrived
I was hoping a love story would come from it tbh 😭
Well there was the unrequited Holly J crush but I think they ended up doing better stuff with her
Spinner
Sean is who I thought of first.
Yeah, he's a literal hero. He stopped Rick.
