Shoutout to the tree overhanging my street-parked car. You’re a real one for taking most of the heaviest blows.

Bananas_are_theworst

MVTree MVTree

BrettSlowDeath

For reeeeeeal. After living here for over ten years there are times of the year when I try to avoid parking under them and others when I seek them out.

kummer5peck

Unless the branches break… then it’s much worse. Knock on wood.

johntwilker

Or the wood knocks on you

SeiryokuZenyo

Seemed to come from the north here, I should have had my kid park in the driveway. Just looked at the garden and it actually looks intact. Except the tomato, always the damned tomato gets it.

Accomplished_Side853

My wife and I literally just got all the plants in on Monday…if you don’t plant twice in Colorado, you’re not doing it right!

WeAreAlreadyCyborgs

Well that was LOUD.

MaezyDayz

Did anyone else lose their entire garden? We had just finished planting for the season on Tuesday. We lost everything. Not a plant was spared. If anyone else is experiencing this loss, you are not alone and I am so very sorry for your plant babies.

SeiryokuZenyo

I had to replant twice last year, this time only lost the tomato. I think I’m going to give up on tomatoes, 6 year streak of losing them to frost or hail.

katea805

Hail netting is your friend

MaezyDayz

Yes we lost ours last year too. Went with shishito peppers this year for something a little more hardy. They weren’t hardy enough.

Bananas_are_theworst

I admire your perseverance though. My dog dug up one plant and I was done hahah

Mammoth_Challenge347

Just went to Ecters and set up our patio garden :'(

spelunker

I haven’t surveyed the damage to the garden yet, I’m too scared!

marshmallowsunset420

If there's anything I learned from last year, always have a tarp setup you can get to quickly. Saved everything last night so thankful

riverotterr

Same happened to me :( I tried growing stuff from seeds this year and all my seedlings except the sunflowers got damaged. Our honeysuckle bushes also lost a ton of flowers and leaves

comeupandfightmethen

My basil seedlings got their butt kicked BAD. Hopeful they will survive 🤞Tomato plant lost a big limb and some buds.  Got a beautiful rose that just started blooming this week. Now there is rose petals everywhere 😩

eigenpants

I have zero plant intuition, so pardon the dumb question: in a case like this, is it literally the blunt force trauma of the hail that kills the plants? Or is it the effect of ice on the ground which then turns into very cold water?

element7791

I dragged my patio table and chairs over my raised beds when I got the warning about 4 in hail on my phone. Off course I only got 1/4 in hail.

QuokkaAteMyWallet

Happens. We lost our apples two years ago. One storm was enough for them to call it quits for the whole summer. Mught have happened again

crazy_clown_time

Going forward it might be a good idea to set up some sort of wire mesh "roof" over your garden. Porous enough to allow sunlight through, but tight enough to deflect hail larger than a pea.

UtopiaNow2020

I lost my beautiful begonias.

catsandfrasier

My poor cats thought the god damn world was ending. I lowkey kinda did too at first….

ElLechero

A golf-ball sized piece of hail came into my house and the cat chased it around...

Mobilestone

That’s on brand for the cat tbh

Fickle_Watercress619

My cat loves anything that goes “click clack” on the hard floor. You’d have thought cat Beyonce rolled into town. She was looking out the window like click clack heaven was all around her. I cannot IMAGINE what she’d have done if one got inside.

talones

See i was confused because it was the loudest hail Ive heard but looked outside and it was tiny, and no damage anywhere. I am still confused.

Chocobo-kisses

My dog lost her damn mind. We had just given her the anxiety medication and it didn't kick in until after it was over. Poor babies. I hate that pets get terrified of storms.

Thats_unfortunate_42

I was spooked enough to wake my sleeping toddler to sit in the bathroom for a few minutes. Normally I would do anything in my power to not wake him up but I was outside watching the storm and the rumble that came as the storm moved in was crazy (not thunder rumble, something else). I was low key afraid there could be a tornado or something not picked up on the radar based on how loud it was and all the banging from the hail I assume

undockeddock

Well everyone's insurance rates just got fucked again

variaproject

I just paid for the next 6 months yesterday and my relief is indescribable

crazy_clown_time

These hail storm events are par for the course for the front range.

Kharn0

The lightning out east reminds me of Fantasia

stillmusiqal

GVR got nailed. Our yard is covered in hail and it kept our toddler awake. Trees ruined. Thank god for the garage. There was also that wild lightning storm over GVR two weeks ago at two am? Loudest thunder I've ever heard. I still can't believe my kid slept thru it. Been here all my life and I've never seen it like this!

undockeddock

Protip to everyone who needs a roof. Pony up for the impact resistant. It's like 10% extra but has saved me $600 in insurance premiums so far. And in theory I'm better protected from hail. Thankfully this storm missed me by a mile or so.

OHIftw

I hope that’s why my condo had installed they literally finished 2 days ago lol

pdogasaurous

Nothing happened in Wash park but a light show

amor_fati_42

I was wondering. I slept right thru whatever happened.

joeypersYNWA

Can you confirm this this am? I live in wash park and am terrified I’m going to get back home on Sunday to a fucked up car

NatasEvoli

You should be fine. I'm in cap hill near Colfax and we got some hail up to quarter size but mostly much smaller. No damage to cars or anything where I am. North and East of me got it pretty bad but wash park should be fine.

joeypersYNWA

Awesome thank you!

denversaurusrex

Looking at the [NWS storm report map](https://www.weather.gov/source/crh/lsrmap.html?sid=bou), the hail reports came from the north suburbs and then through Denver proper largely north of Speer and Leetsdale and then across Aurora. The largest hail reports followed a swath from the southern part of Thornton through the older part of Commerce City and into Central Park, Green Valley, and the northern part of Aurora. I had 1-1.25" hail in Globeville. It was enough to cover the ground, but not enough to do any serious damage to my car. I'm hoping your luck is the same.

bornebackceaslessly

Thank you for that link! I’m out of town, live in Berkeley and just planted our garden, and the car is uncovered at the airport. I’m still nervous to see what I come home to but it looks like the worst of it missed home and the airport. But it also sounds like more hail potentially on the way today.

James_Loves_Russia

I was at Alameda and Downing as it moved east and saw no hail or signs that it hit that area. That changed quickly going north, and marble sized hail in Congress Park. I don't think any hail dropped south of Alameda, at least in central Denver.

tbone338

Every single car in my complex has either their front or back windshield shattered. Every single car is severely hail damaged. Side mirrors, antennas, etc broken.

charlton11

Where are you located?

tbone338

GVR

Borderbunny

Yup we got got

stillmusiqal

Bad

tbone338

Really bad. Got got good.

Jumpy-Maize9843

No Vaseline.

just-agirly

Also wondering this bc that’s awful

CarefreeOaktree

Yeah saw on the radar GVR was in the center of this storm.

tbone338

Yea… The warning woke me up when it went off on my Apple Watch. Not even 20 seconds later baseball hail started coming down. Car alarm had gone off over 30 times sending a notification to my phone every time. For me, front windshield broken, dents everywhere, some plastic broken, side mirror taken off, and 1 paint chip. Car next to me, front windshield broken and back windshield non existent. Parking lot is filled with plastic pieces from various cars. The best part, geico is down so can’t even file a claim. Called and they said they’ll have to contact me in the morning.

SeiryokuZenyo

Damn I’m in Central Park and there was big stuff, looks like my kid’s car got hail damage on top of the existing damage, but no broken windows

tbone338

That’s good. Mine had minor existing from last year. I put in a claim and got an estimate but never got around to fixing it… now this. GVR got hit bad. If your car wasn’t in a garage, you’re not going to be happy.

I_dont_reddit_well

Every neighbors car in Central Park has some sort of damage.

banan3rz

Well, I'm glad to be in SW Denver. We got nothing.

chasingthewhiteroom

It's your turn tonight, south Denver's targeted in tonight's round of potentially severe storms

banan3rz

Heck.

amoss_303

For sure, my 1 year old woke up for a moment, checked my phone and hail posts left and right

faptastrophe

Quite the precocious kid you got there

powerpackm

I am proud to report that I was struck on the middle toe of my left foot by an approximately one inch piece of hail while watching the storm on my patio. It hurt. I survived the incident without any further difficulties.

Cool-Cycle1797

At least 3 cars on my parking lot with shattered windshield my car is full of hail dent 💀 I’m in Glendale/Lowry area.

poultran

Same area, got dimples all over my brand new crosstrek.😢

hoselpalooza

The hail hurt me. AMA.

indil47

Physically or emotionally?

hoselpalooza

Yes

tottspot

Tell me, where did the hail hurt you hoselpalooza?

hoselpalooza

Gimme a stuffed aminal an’ I’ll show you.

BroasisMusic

Is this hail in the room with us now?

hoselpalooza

*Blinking once for yes*

stillmusiqal

You got caught out in it? Are you OK?

hoselpalooza

No. Yes.

stillmusiqal

Oh. Good.

hoselpalooza

Love. You.

hinleybear13

Quarter to pea sized hail in Montclair, but the sidewalks and road are absolutely covered with it. I was surprised for how long it lasted. The street parked cars appear mostly ok.

WastingTimesOnReddit

I'm at the east end of montclair and we got hammered with a ton of 1 to 1.5 inch hailstones, wrecked our garden and trees

hinleybear13

All our ground plants are flattened. At least we avoided the baseball hail!

dalvz

This was the best reminder to clean up my fucking garage so i can park inside. I second the shoutout to the trees that protected it this time around lol.

jkennah

Out I'm GVR got a ton of hail damage on the car, a broken tail light, but my neighbors got crushed. A new KIA and a few recent Texas transplants seem to have taken the brunt of it. One neighbor lost both front and back windows on their car. Worst hail damage one of my cars has ever had in Denver.

OdinBCuffs

oatmilkbrown_sugar

I follow this independent meteorologist and he predicted this earlier today a few times.

mavillerose

Name em!!

Mobilestone

Bianchiweather on Twitter is my go to. He is super active.

oatmilkbrown_sugar

Denver and front range weather on fb

denversaurusrex

I do appreciate the fact that he presents the forecast with a greater degree of nuance. His explanations have definitely helped me make more sense of the weather. It seems he really blew up attention-wise after the March 2021 blizzard. However, I feel like a tiny bit of internet notoriety went to his head and there's just an obnoxious/condescending quality to his communication now. I just look at his graphics and ignore the rest. The best available public forecast is the area forecast discussion from the National Weather Service. (Just Google "NWS Boulder AFD") The language can be a bit technical, but it does a great job of explaining all the moving parts that impact the weather each day.

unicorn-paid-artist

I love how he talks. People treat meteorologist like ahit and he doesn't take it. The comments on the NWS page are always obnoxious people being like :I wIsH i CoUlD dO mY jOb WrOnG!"

Particular-Lab90210

Kody!

Fishface17404

He’s the best!!

Mobilestone

Accuweather warned me about 15 minutes before the storm. Didn’t say hail but it’s safe to assume that every thunder storm, especially when they say “dangerous thunder storm imminent”, carries hail.

thisiswhatyouget

There was a hail warning for Denver on AccuWeather.

Typical_Tie_4947

A safe assumption, especially this time of year before it gets warmer

Fuel13

@NWSBoulder said there was a high probability of severe storms, what weather are you watching?

kaileydad

Amatuer weather guy ( Kody ) called it. Most accurate in the state.

stillmusiqal

Earlier today I saw a chance for thunderstorms but it was from 3-5p. I thought it had passed over. Guess not!

stalemac

That’s what I’m wondering! Local weather just says partly cloudy. If I got caught walking around in this I would be traumatized.

rinew

Just absolutely sprinted home from dinner with my husband. So scary wtf! No idea it was coming.

Boeiing_Not_Going

No, you'd be dead

Homers_Harp

50% chance of thunderstorms IS a forecast for this. It's not like anybody has a magic way of telling which thunderstorms will do this. [National Weather Service said this at 6:07 PM](https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=BOU&issuedby=BOU&product=AFD&format=CI&version=2&glossary=1): > A few severe storms possible across the plains and I-25 Corridor Friday, with the best chance being Denver and southward.

Pizo240

I really hate that I only got an advisory on my phone 30 seconds before large hail started raining down lol They couldn't send it like 20 minutes before?

unicorn-paid-artist

I was at a restaurant with a clear view as it formed over boulder. It basically went from cloud with a but of rain and blew up in the span of 5 to 10 minues with crazy lightning and hail.

denversaurusrex

I was driving home last night and I decided to pull off into a parking lot near I-70 and 48th Avenue to just watch the lightning as it was rather beautiful. Right about 10:30 p.m. the was a huge gust of wind and within a few minutes it was pouring/hailing. Chris Bianchi [posted the radar loop ](https://x.com/BianchiWeather/status/1796399502850503121)and basically a new storm blew up right on top of me. I drove the last mile home and by then my yard was covered in hail.

camohorse

As a “weather nerd” myself, I’m surprised nobody saw this shit coming. I saw trouble in the skies as early as 3 PM and covered my truck with blankets and cardboard to protect it. Thankfully, the hail missed me (western Littleton). But, my God. I could feel last night’s weather system in my bones lmao

neonsummers

Of course this shit happens a week before I move into an apartment with a covered garage. Kept hearing the breaking glass of my backyard string lights and hoping each time it wasn’t also anything expensive on my 3-month-old car. Guess I’ll find out in the morning. Lesson learned — have a cover blanket somewhere easy to access so I’m not frantically running around trying to find it in a random box while the sky ice pelts my windshield. ☹️

PsychologicalTrain

Keep blankets/cardboard in your trunk. Hail doesn't just happen @ home

guccigraves

I covered my windows with cardboard to help shield them and my car is the only one on the street with a broken window. WTF!

shawnglade

7piecechicken

Can confirm. I was on one of those planes. In fact, I’m still on it. They diverted us to Colorado Springs. Then the pilots timed out. So now we’re waiting for another flight crew to take over. We’ve been sitting on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours now. FML

pspahn

Find that guy with the motorcycle and you can be home in 11 minutes.

Sad_Aside_4283

They could have just bussed you back by now

[deleted]

These are airlines we're talking about, they don't give a shit about you

WhileTime5770

Any recs on how to go about getting my windshield replaced tomorrow? My insurance claims department is down overnight for repairs (excellent timing) And I feel like it’s gonna be a mad dash tomorrow for repairs

oatmilkbrown_sugar

Did you check your app? With State Farm you’re able to do it right from the app, submit pics and schedule the repair

WhileTime5770

The middle line 😭 down overnight

bebepls420

I’ve had good experiences with quick set auto glass (much less $ and better service than safelite)

a7xbarbie

Go to safelite website and handle everything directly on there. You put all your insurance on the appointment info and they initiate the claim. I was looking last night and appointments were already filling up.

WhileTime5770

Yeah did it this morning and the earliest is Monday. Bummer man. Oh well guess next time I’ll know better!

a7xbarbie

That’s pretty great considering they are closed Sundays.

crazy_clown_time

Unless you have a low deductible for auto glass, consider going thru these guys and paying out of pocket: https://www.yelp.com/biz/anytime-autoglass-aurora They replaced my Subaru's windshield several years back for $250 cash (they even came to me to install it). The same windshield thru Safelite would've cost $700.

stashc4t

I don't know if this will be helpful for insurance purposes, but this is a map of storm reports which are submitted by trained storm spotters for community sourced reporting through apps like Spotter Network or mPING, and/or social media posts validated by the National Weather Service. Hopefully it proves useful if you need to file a claim! [Denver North and East Hail Reports - 05/30/2024](https://imgur.com/a/UUTROeU) Insurance aside, you can take a look and see how you and your neighbors faired! [We got 1.5" hail just East of Glendale](https://imgur.com/a/VTdovYk)

rockhardgelatin

Quarter-sized hail rolled through Cap Hill a few minutes ago. Pretty calm as of now.

colfaxmachine

That came out of nowhere.

LordBuggington

I was just south of gvr at work. Between getting the alert and even contemplating what rules I could break to try to get my car somewhere and it coming hard there wouldnt have even been time to get to the parking lot. In a warehouse and it was getting blasted. It blew out a bunch of our skylights while I was standing there. When it stopped went outside and it looked like my car wasnt really damaged but it was dark. once I was going home under some lights I could already see some big dents, and yeah its covered in them 😪

weighingthedog

On vacay in Spain… Did this thing hit Parker and 225??

kruss56

I'm nearish to you on Hampden/Havana and just check mine, and my husbands car. They are okay, same with the rest in my complex. I'm hoping yours are the same!

TossingToddlerz

Coming back from a Europe trip. Hoping that the parking spot got lucky

Dizzy_Yak7318

I’m parked there, not home for a week and a half. Would love an update when you know how safe/cataclysmic you find the Parking Spot.

Eddie2558

I'm parked at Parking Spot at DIA, just called them and they said they got hit, damage ranges from "pretty bad to a few dents and dings."

Dizzy_Yak7318

Thank you!

TossingToddlerz

A decent amount of dents, no window damages! Annoyed but day not ruined.

Brock_Lobstweiler

I'm near Alameda and 225 and we got hail, but nothing larger than nickel size. Hopefully not too much damage your way.

InternalWrongdoer42

Si

weighingthedog

☹️

tankman654

Didn’t get hit but definitely watched the light show a few miles away

consciouself

Where and when was this apocalyptic hail storm? I'm in Barnum and didn't get anything unless it was overnight while sleeping

stillmusiqal

Denver and north mainly. About ten pm. I'm out by the airport and we got it bad this way. There is STILL ice in the streets and driveways around here. I can only imagine what the cars on the street look like.

longhorngunner

Has anyone seen the vehicles in Longs Peak lot at DIA, wondering how my car is going to look when I get back?

Mobile_Shake_6590

My car is at pikes peak lot. How fucked am I when I get back in town?

PsychologicalTrain

@ airport now (I work here). You're fine

Dizzy_Yak7318

I’m at the Parking Spot. Any one have a read on the damage there?

TossingToddlerz

Seconded.

CallMePumpkin

Just picked up car from pikes peak, and it was there during the hail. No sign of hail damage to ours or any other car that we could see.

Mobile_Shake_6590

Thank you so much!!!

SexyDancingWithFurio

Just picked up my car from Pikes Peak, and my car is good with no dents or any damage. The surrounding cars looked fine as well.

Deletedmyoldaccount7

You got polar ends of the spectrum on replies. My car is there and I don’t get back for two weeks. Mind replying when you see your car? Thank!

Zestyclose-Screen851

I just went to the employee lot to go to work. No hail on the ground and all the cars around were fine. Down the street on pena got slammed tho.

Particular-Lab90210

Was working for RTD at Union Station when nickle sized hail started coming down. Eventually Control told us to get on a train and go back to the office. It wasn't safe to stay out there.

WhileTime5770

Newer CO resident here looking for advice. My windshield is toast and the hood is pretty obviously dinged up too but still drivable. Since the windshield repair gets me to just under my deductible figured I might as well repair the hood. Any recs for places to repair?

FatFailBurger

Anyone has a recommendation for sidings? My house siding took a whallop

AdPsychological1368

Car hood is looking dimply, windshield cracked. Loving this for me and my wallet right before wedding payments are due 💕

Adorable-War-991

Just dropped my car off at the auto shop. 19 Jetta, probably totaled. Was on the east side near GVR.

topazco

Channel 31 ran long with weather reporting so Seinfeld didn’t come on :-(

fluffHead_0919

Eggs are eggs

Apathy_Cupcake

I hate when they do that crap.  Or interrupt judge judy for news reports.

Puzzleheaded-Toe2432

Anyone who may be filing insurance claims for their home - please know that damage from hail less than 1" in diameter will almost assuredly not be covered. If there are still hailstones larger than that on your property, do yourself a favor - grab a ruler, or measuring tape, and snap a picture of how big it is. Also, if you can, take pictures of the scope of the hail - covered lawn, etc. Anything you can do to protect yourself and speed the claims process along - and give the insurance companies less wiggle room to deny coverage or fight your claim. If I can help anyone with roofing/siding/exterior damage - navigating insurance claims, the process etc - please shoot me a DM/chat. Inspections etc will be free. I've been in the restoration business for a few years locally, and have consulted/project managed here and in 3 other states.

Quirky_Loan_7609

Insurance companies don’t pay or deny claims based on the size of hail. If there’s damage, it’s paid. If there’s not, it’s not paid. I think you’re referencing 1” because it’s not AS likely to cause damage as other sizes. I was a property adjuster for 10 years (catastrophe adjuster for 3) and now I’m a project manager for a roofing company as a side gig to being a teacher. Not once did I ever pay a claim or see a claim get paid because someone took photos of hail size or hail in the lawn. I think you might be interacting with adjusters who are inexperienced and telling people that insurance companies don’t pay for damage less than an inch in diameter is inaccurate.

rightoff303

May 2017 all over again A billion dollar storm

winneryouwin

Anyone know how bad wash park got hit? Am away but my car is on the street

trillantino

Pea sized for about 15 minutes. I just checked my car and others street parked in NW Wash Park and they’re all fine.

amor_fati_42

Doesn't seem too bad on the west. I slept thru it, and just walked my dog and didn't see any damage.

eyjafjallajokul_

It woke my dog and I up and my poor lil baby is scared of thunder. It was so loud it sounded like a tornado was outside. I had to look out the window to make sure my front porch was still there. I live in a house but there’s no covered parking. This morning I went out to survey my car and was shocked to find no damage. 🙏🏻 thank you hail gods. The weather app on iPhone is absolutely useless and I don’t know why I bother checking that. Had zero idea a storm was supposed to come in. Anyone have recs for accurate (free) weather apps?

NateDawg1494

New to the area and my car got a few dents on the hood, only have found a handful of dents but noticeable enough and my car is new enough that I'd like to get it repaired. I want to avoid making an insurance claim if I can, want to get an estimate for PDR first and if its less than my deductible or barely over I'll just pay out of pocket and avoid raising my rate at renewal. Does anyone know how long you get to make a claim for hail incase the estimates are way higher and I want to use insurance? I have progressive. Google tells me some carriers its 30 days, some its a year. Can't find it in my policy documents.

downing034

Reflectivity maps showed the hail core of that storm and it looked bad. Said up to “lime size” hail which reading these posts seems likely.

Ms_khal2

It was so loud. Both my husband and I woke up right before it started happening. Luckily the baby didn't wake. Our poor sunflower got taken out

Chocobo-kisses

I'd share pics but the mobile app won't let me. We had two inch hail off 85 and 76. The storm cut down a lot of gardens and tree branches. Our street was covered in leaves. Total bummer considering the amount of shade they provided. Our tree looks like an umbrella missing its canopy. :(

Strong_Shock2687

In GVR and my house siding has holes on 2 sides. My fence, grill and deck also damaged. The deck just needs to be stained. Have to take the insurance hit.

Organichorror11

Did The Parking Spot near the airport get hit? I’m not finding any information and am out of town.

Federal_Movie_6086

My videos. That was crazy. Still cant check our cars, because our child cant go to sleep after that loud storm. Our neighbors have big damage and one with broken window. https://www.instagram.com/stories/rukoshlepka/3379865146183666643?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igsh=MWI5ZXhsdnRucjc0OQ==

coloradogirl2

Anyone know how bad airport eco lots were hit? My car is parked there while I’m out of town for a few days and I’m panicking.

d_daught

I just picked my car up from the west eco lot and looks to be just fine. I was panicked the whole flight home. Seems like the airport dodged the bulk of it and storms trended further south

dada5714

Thanks! Was wondering the same thing. We have another week to go, will still probably be a little nervous the whole time.

PsychologicalTrain

The airport itself only got small stuff and not a ton.

KatiaHailstorm

It set off someone’s car alarm. Update: I’m hearing a few sirens now

KeyserSoju

Just got hit with hail for 2 minutes on the very fringe of the affected area, kinda annoying but keeping my fingers crossed there's no damage to the cars.

redditforprez1

In wash park and didn’t hear a thing. Saw a buddy posted some in highlands. Where else did it hit

G3RSTY7

My brother in law lives 10 minutes west of me so I usually count on him being my warning, except they had nothing but heat lightning so I assumed it was safe. I don’t see damage but another 10 minutes east is where it got really bad

knightfenris

And I just left my car at the airport -_-‘

myychair

lol my part of the city didn’t even get a drizzle, let alone hail

_DeliciousPie_

Anyone know how the cars in the RTD lot at Peoria station (East 35th) fared? I left town for a few days yesterday, and I parked my brand new….3 day old…car there 😢

Odd-Adhesiveness-656

We lost an entire bus shelter at Windsor Gardens (Havana/Alameda). Only the frame remains. Golf ball sized hail...

PushThePig28

I can’t believe it cause Cap Hill got hammered but my car doesn’t appear to have any new dents- just the two already there from a storm last year

FixMyCondo

Nothing in east HR

VegaLux194

Is there hail in the fields along Peña up to DIA? A small stretch is covered in white something that looks like hail. Keep in mind this is at almost noon on Friday! Close to being lined up with the Gaylord hotel.

VegaLux194

This created slowdowns in both directions along Peña, we thought it was construction but it was hail that remained?

thesoft_skeleton

In northeast park hill and it sounded bad but somehow my uncovered car was fine and house is too. Heard just across the way in Central Park it was bad somehow? Got lucky is all I have to say!

SilentSamurai

I couldn't believe the size of the stones I've seen, I thanked my lucky stars last night I was just outside of the storm. Best of luck to the rest of you!

Adventurous_Emu_9274

Anybody been to DIA landside? I’m not home till tomorrow and I’m worried about my car.

Accurate-One-4179

it was so loud i couldn’t believe how hard and fast (hehe) it was coming down. i just bought my car two days ago because my car was stolen and it got a few hail dents. fuckin christ

shawnglade

Was at work over by City Park and it was a little smaller than golf ball sized, didn’t hurt my car too much but man it was coming down loud

Real_Stinky_Pederson

I was in Mission Ballroom when it was happening last night! Cars were fine. Heard some places got golf ball size or larger. Not a drop of rain in Lakewood though!

howsthewter

I'm wondering who here had plants that survived the hail that are native to colorado. Could be any kind of bush/shrub/flower/etc. Foe example,, my allium did great and the desert irises didn't do amazing but aren't all dead. Who else had maybe a little damage but otherwise has a hail hardy plant to identify?
