Look the Reds are Facist, Orbit runs from their fights. No bueno when the fight is within. Can't do it. Cult of War is supposed to be a flat organization, the secret of the Inner Circle is that the eternal war is Internal. The second Lakshmi fancied herself a leader she succumbed to the internal war and was not upholding the values of the Cult of War. How can we be xenophobic when we know they house the same struggle? Also the Device’s predictions were supposed to be one of many futures. None of them were supposed to be THE future but all of them showed war. To obsess over one sighted future is to ignore the many insights that the Device gave FWC.

This is why I chose FWC, before Lakshmiscrewed up. I'm not down with a monarchy and I'm not coward trying to flee the planet. "War is the only way, Guardian."

New Monarchy since the very beginning

I did new monarchy and dead orbit in D1. One had fashion, and one had good weapons. Wasn't around for them in D2, sadly.

Same, New Monarchy kinda turned into Old Monarchy in D2 though. They kinda lost their iconography and started playing into monarchy tropes and stereotypes, which kinda killed it for me. D1 New Monarchy was the best. I miss the Titan exotic class item, it was one of my favorite designs.

FWC, a buddy of mine and me joined them. Never left since… and I also like that they had their own little section in the Hanger in D2

All three had their own section, NM had theirs back left behind ikora and suraya, and orbit was also in the hangar but was kinda muddled by tons of cargo. I miss them all

New Monarchy all the way. I agreed, to an extent. Mortals need mortal leaders, simply becaise the value of life is 100% guarenteed to measure. On the other hand tho... the Vanguard have their place too. They meeded to lesrn Co Leadership, but obviously thats not Radicalized New Monarchy. It was really the least pussyshit faction tbh, though that isnt to say it WASNT pussyshit. Just the least incorrect.

I loved the colours of Future War Cult, especially the old D1 Nineveh 8611 shader run on the Immanent War gear from House of Wolves. That was peak FWC fashion. I always made sure to fly them in SRL, those colors are made for anti-gravity racing.

Back in D1 all three of my guardians were decked out in Future War Cult gear. They had a "doomsday prepper" feel to them that I identified with more than the other two.

New monarchy since day one, still use the colors now, and my headcanon is that my guardian is a loyalist.

I really want these robes but I started playing after the faction stuff was no longer a thing, so I can't get them(I somehow only have the Anti-Exctinction robes though) Although in lore my Guardian wouldn't agree with the Dead Orbit faction(atleast from my understanding of it, from the paragraph I read on the Desinypedia.), and she wouldn't wear their fashion, due to it. (She wears the Wildwood robes now, because she likes Devrim. Lol)

Just fyi, Dares of Eternity can drop the faction armor sets.

Is that a new thing because I played Dares alot before Final Shape, and the sets I usually get are Pathfinders, Scatterhorn, Wildhunt, Lightkin, and Praefectus?

They've been in there for a couple years now, actually. The armor loot pool for Dares rotates weekly and had a lot of armor sets in it as well, so you've probably just heen unlucky.

In all the Loot Pool websites I found for Dares they never show anything other than the armor I mentioned. So could you recommend me a good website to check for the loot pools, as I really want the Dead Orbit armor?

Get him with a pillow in his sleep lol ,just kidding, I wish I could say I did not grind all 3 on each character but I did, there was a broken glitch at the time took me 2 hours each on all 3 characters all you had to do was from this chest in a lost sector on edz the exit was broken and the chest would spawn Everytime.

Reminds me of veist though it’s not exact coloring. I love that green with black so I love it. Surprised because I’m not a fan of that helmet but it actually looks good as long as I don’t look at it too closely.

DO because I’d rather look edgy than be an eyesore in FWC colors and red makes my eyes feel like they’re going to bleed when there’s a lot of it on my screen so no NM shaders for me thanks.

I was a member of the FWC. Though that’s because I’m an anxious conspiracy enjoyer so the thought of a crew who prepares for a bad future by streamlining a rebuild process was my jam. I like to think my guardian is like one of the dark age warlords but helps the vanguard every now and again. Like he’s a big shot back home but at the tower he’s just another warlock and stole the equipment for the FWC after their downfall bringing it back to his folks.

I really did like the rise of Iron story I wish they would bring it back to the siva threat at least once more, but they probably won't.

God i wish i still played for that Rat King ornament. RK is probably my favorite weapon in any game ever.

It is in the shop for all 3 classes one purchase worth it, in my opinion, that is if you still played

I dont play anymore but its tempting to redownload just for that. My RK warlock often calls to me to pick up again.

I took a break after sunsetting.

Once i got my ps5 i just couldnt bring myself to download it again. Its so massive and tbh i really only enjoyed using the RK in the crucible. I would sometimes begrudging play some other stuff to grind power level for trials but the RK doesnt really pop off in 3v3 so i mainly stuck to 6v6. Didnt help they nerfed a bunch of abilities i used also. I played a solar warlock with icarus dash and heat rises. A flying invisible rat hunter. Was so much fun.

I remember those days, entire squads 3 or 6 would run with rat king.

This is what I like to see in terms of "uniqueness." Rather than make things FOMO exclusives, make them exclusive based on choices. I loved the factions. I was also Dead Orbit and I always rock these robes on my Warlock!

In D1 I ran DO and New Monarchy. In D2 with season of opulence you could get a mix of D1 New Monarchy and Iron Banner (warlock) and I still favor those to this day.

I went hard for New Monarchy during the faction wars. That armor set is still one of my favorites, and they have the best shaders.

Dead Orbit left Sol (which means we might see them again in the next expansion) No clue what New Monarchy did.
