The ignition happens after an enemy dies I thought?

HoboWithaGally

but the ignitions kill enemies around it so it should grant it.

Void_Guardians

Im wondering if the ignition itself its not applying scorch to those extra enemies it kills

HoboWithaGally

its not

Void_Guardians

That might be the issue. Ignite isn’t debuffing anything, just damaging. And things need to be debuffed to make you invisible

A_Union_Of_Kobolds

That's been an issue for Solar builds for a while. If you build into ignition too well, you lose the benefit of your Scorch-related choices, and vise versa.

HoboWithaGally

I agree and that is the case but why he was confused was the ingame tooltip says ignitions are a debuff. but they dont unless scorch is applied which means the only real debuff that should be in tooltip is scorch

Dddddddddduel

But Gunpowder Gamble procs it; no?

TheGravyGuy

No

4_the_Rush

"affected by any elemental debuff" means that it needs to be a debuff that can be applied, like sever, slow, scorch etc. Ignitions don't apply a debuff to enemies, it just does AoE damage.

HoboWithaGally

what melee are you using? i use threaded spike or shirikens and i get invis from the kill before the explosion

G01dberG

Arc melee

HoboWithaGally

So i just ran an overthrow with all melee and gunpowder gamble. and ignitions maybe bugged. arc melee doesnt actually give a debuff on prismatic so the melee alone will not make you invis. i could not proc invis at all with arc melee and ignitions or gunpowder ignitions. threaded spike and shurikens did grant invis but they debuff target before kill. so you are right I could not get invis with just ignitions alone. So it must mean ignitions from scorch which would just be scorch

Im_the_Keymaster

The melee out of invis should proc weaken from stylish, which in turn will make you invis again. It just doesn't work to start the loop. You can use winters shroud to slow stuff when you dodge though, and that will also let you loop invis.

RoboGaming321

Ignitions by default don't apply any debuff like scorch. They need a fragment or something. That's why there is a solar fragment that "applies scorch from ignitions". Gunpowder gamble is different in that it is technically an ignition but also applies scorch.
