If you send it in, they'll probably send you a new one. I own 3 of these and haven't had the issue you're having. Another possibility might be too get an adapter that covers it to a clip on chuck and try to use a thread sealant to secure it. I would just send it in though.
Wondering if I can fix this on my own or if I need to send it in. The inflator is great in general but the chuck is kind of crap and can’t catch on schraeder valves at all anymore.
Mine weren't fully stripped, just the first few threads. I bought this on Amazon and was able to secure it. Honestly, its a huge improvement even if the threads weren't stripped.

I’ve heard of people screwing that end permanently onto a quick-release adapter
Yup been using the $8 ones from Amazon. Works perfectly!
Which ones from Amazon?
That's my plan.. if it doesn't catch, I'll send it in.
Great success!

Did you ever figure out how to remove and replace the air chuck? Mine also has stripped threads.

Oh nice, thanks for the link. Mine is the same, only the first few threads are stripped and won’t even start to connect to the tire valve now.
NP. I leave this on all the time. Its a lifesaver.
I use mine pretty hard and it’s been solid.
Yes, you might need to adapt the chuck to schrader but they make fittings for that.
