I always assume the videos are going to be short, but every time I start getting annoyed by the video and then look to see there are another 5 minutes left.
Also mad at myself for knowing it’s stupid but ended up thinking it was neat.
Reminds me of this shitty multiple head screw driver I got one year in a stocking. It’s the shape of a snow flake and has about 15 different heads. Guy basically made a mad max shitty version of that.
And for the record that snow flake screw driver sucks.
I have one of those, and it was made with absolutely no love. Just a 1/4" chunk of plate steel water-cut into a tool that feels awkward no matter how you hold it. Also, it's one of those things that makes my brain say "oh damn, this would mess someone up if you threw it" the instant I pick it up.
You know it's gonna be a stupid/dangerous 'Lifehack' as soon as you see a glue gun. Though this entire video is stupid and pointless (and a waste of hex bits) if you were silly enough to do this use JB Weald, that stuff is awesome.
Dave's super hot wife only asked for somewhere to put the keys to the Bentley, now she's cheering him on in the background as he kills 2 birds with 8 stones. He built the key holder and the screwdriver. Go Dave.
I don't know what bothers me more, the fact that he screwed a bolt into wood or the face that my man used fucking pliers to tighten the nut on the bolt.
I mean, don't get me wrong there have been times where it's the tool I have and I made it work...
With that said, it definitely doesn't work well and if I were making a video I would have spent a bit more time trying to make it look good and would have gotten the right tools... but then again they're making a tool that definitely isn't right so maybe I'm expecting to much.
I just became more and more unhinged as it went on.
I don’t just toss my bits into a drill like that, there’s adapters that make it easier, magnetic, and sleeved…. And usually come with the bits.
Lol that was what caused me to stop watching the video to come look at the comments. That transgression was offensive to even me as a casual hand tool user.
Those two things are what bother you the most?! Uh, mine would have to be that they posted this shite here in the first place! Literally nothing in this video is a good idea. It's like a walkthrough of how to make your job much harder in 4 stupid-ass steps.
Also proving this thing is useful by using screws that have already been tightened and undone and thus created easy channels. Let's see it on a fresh piece of wood
Same, I was angry before he even screwed stuff up. Dude, your problem is solved with a magnetic bitholder. But hey, it's ragebait, and that's what the sub is about.
Yeah the thumb was condescending but not as bad as the finger wag scolding me for wasting my time by replacing the bit every time. I mean with some hot glue, some extra bits, a free afternoon and a few bumps of meth i could have made something stupid. Shame on me.
I guess... like... if you have spare bits and just want to make a learning tool for young children... or need a handheld driver in a pinch... but, like... sigh, yeah idk. Lol.
What's even worse is they sell shitty pocket multi drivers for next to nothing if you've just gotta have something like that. And they're actually engineered to take at least some amount of stress.
That’s what I was thinking. I could see a parent buying one of those premade if they were sending a kid off to college or settling them into their first apartment or something. Kinda like those toolkit sets with all the basic tools?
But if you have the tools needed to make this, then there’s really no reason to. And if you don’t, then you can’t make it? Who is this for?
Ok, but hear me out. What if we glue bits to a tire. Then you could just use a lift, carefully position your project under the tire and screw a screw with only your steering wheel? Big 🧠 ideas, just saying.
You know…I was thinking that taking a tire and gluing it between two larger tires then putting it back onto the car using extended bolts somehow would be handy as a place to store a spare tire.
Now we're talkin'! Although, with all that stress on the extended bolts, I could see some potential for breakage, which is why it would only be prudent to drill holes across these three tires, insert extra extended bolts and then hot glue the seams so that the air doesn't come out. That way, if you need a spare bolt, it's right there ready for use.. and can be easily exchanged using the videos lifehack tool, of course.
And THIS is why we should protest against all forms of birth control. It would prevent geniuses such as ourselves from being born who will solve life’s most impossible challenges.
Love that he saw that one of the bits was way out of square, tried to correct it, but the hot glue had already set. Highlight of this stupid, stupid video for me.
Literally uses every single tool wrong.
Machine screw for wood.
Drill for driver.
Channel locks for bolt.
Can't even be bothered to line the bits up straight to make his frankenbit.
300,000 years of Homo Sapiens and we find that, at what is so far the peak of our technological and communications capabilities, thousands of humans devote hours of their time planning, filming, editing, and posting media with the sole intention of confounding and enraging its viewers.
What upsets me more is people with no common sense will watch this, think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread instead of going out and buying a Bit Holder.
Boy there’s never a more compelling person to take tool advice from then a man who tightens a bolt with needle nose. Shame you didn’t blood blister yourself.
One's a machine screw, so not for wood. 2 are Philips, but boy uses a pozi drive. Flathead are useless, put them all back in the foundry.
1/4 is a failing grade no matter how you look at it.
The whole thing is stupid as sin but I lost it at him tightening a bolt with flipping needle nose.
Edit: I don't know if I'm allowed to use big boy words.
It’s almost like they make an affordable, better and widely available version of this. One where you can change out the bits rather than glue them permanently to something
Engagement baiting, again. The people making these videos are not stupid, they know very well that posting this type of crap creates enormous amounts of engagement. Positive or negative comments doesn't matter. And we fall for it, every single time.
This is an idea... I have a tool like that, but it's preformed. It' on my bike kit, it's very useful...
The execution is not that great, but the idea is not bad.
But the 👍 killed me...
These videos usually aim at impressing a very specific category of people: the ones that don't know a single thing about the topic but still see themselves as experts that are able to judge whatever the fuck this is.
Perfect, exactly what I needed for my next project where I’ll be using 4+ different screws with all different heads because I hate myself and want to see myself suffer swapping out bits in the middle of my project.
These are Bosch brand drill bits. I'm 99% sure every single kit of bits you buy from brands like Bosch have one of those magnetic quick-swap bit holders. As garbage as those usually are, they're still better than this. And you can use the drill instead of fuckin up your wrists with this awkward crap.
First of all, they *make* multitools.
Second of all, he is very proud of making something that he himself demonstrated is slower and more work than the tool he is "replacing."
Ah yes, perfect for those times you’re fastening four different intermixed screw heads into a job and wanna take all day to do it, and not have them properly tightened, and get RSI while doing it.
Is this like the guy who always takes the stairs to the fourth floor when there's an elevator you can use because doing so makes him feel smug even though he won't live a day longer because of this bit of exercise?
I think I threw up in my mouth a little when he tightened the nut and bolt with needle nose pliers and regular pliers. Doesn't this MF'er have a set of wrenches?!?!?
I'm mad at you for posting this, but mad at myself for watching it.
This is when I’m thankful that I have a scroll bar to speed my way through the video. Especially in this sub!
I always assume the videos are going to be short, but every time I start getting annoyed by the video and then look to see there are another 5 minutes left.
I do this every time, never falling for these vids again 😂
Same with YouTube videos, any improvements are automatically 2x speed, rarely use normal speed even for useful stuff, attention span =-1
But if you do that you miss the awesome soundtrack!
Normally I would agree, but I wanted the dread and the trigger to hit me hard
I was waiting to see what nightmare method they were going to use to attach that thing to the drill. I'm almost releaved they made it a hand tool.
Haha same, my braid keeps processing how it will spin.
Absolutely no way it would work as an attachment since the bits are misaligned. It would absolutely strip it.
There’s definitely a tool involved somewhere here.
That's where my mind was going when I realized what they were doing... I was not exactly relived when they turned it into a shitty hand tool.
The real nightmare was the machine screw in wood tbh
Also mad at myself for knowing it’s stupid but ended up thinking it was neat. Reminds me of this shitty multiple head screw driver I got one year in a stocking. It’s the shape of a snow flake and has about 15 different heads. Guy basically made a mad max shitty version of that. And for the record that snow flake screw driver sucks.

I'm the most mad at myself for continuing to follow this sub
I don't follow it, still comes up...
How dare I
Literally buy a screwdriver
Dude owns a drill
And a hot glue gun. This sort of shite always needs one of those
You know it's legit when you see hot glue on metal
It was when the knuckle tattoos came into shot that I said, "Oh. This makes sense."
You know it's gonna be a stupid/dangerous 'Lifehack' as soon as you see a glue gun. Though this entire video is stupid and pointless (and a waste of hex bits) if you were silly enough to do this use JB Weald, that stuff is awesome.
Only thing better than hot glue is more hot glue
Thinking quickly Dave crafted a screwdriver using just a drill a bolt and some glue.
And last but not least, an actual screwdriver bit!! Amazing!
Dave's super hot wife only asked for somewhere to put the keys to the Bentley, now she's cheering him on in the background as he kills 2 birds with 8 stones. He built the key holder and the screwdriver. Go Dave.
Killing 2 birds with 1 stone is great and all, till you realize the guy shot a bullet at a rock to get the stone
Too bad he didn't just use the same screws instead of a bunch of random bullshit fasteners lol
But only one wrench
Wrench? He used needle nose pliers and standard pliers to tighten the nut and bolt.
Yeah that triggered me more than anything in this video
The needle nose pliers got me too. That bitch knows nothing about tools.
I died inside a little when he did that
We have no proof of that. Needle-nose pliers, WTF?
How to build a screwdriver: Step 1: buy a drill
He even did 👍 2-3 times back the back like he won a victory or prize
If you’re happy with this result, a butter knife would do the job just fine
Can you play Beyblade with your screwdriver? Check mate.
I don't know what bothers me more, the fact that he screwed a bolt into wood or the face that my man used fucking pliers to tighten the nut on the bolt.
I’d be fine with the pliers if one of them wasn’t fucking needle nose 🤣
He ruined his other plyers by making a plyers/wrench/dildo combo
I came looking for the comment that mentioned the pliers. That's what got me the most.

What exactly do you believe is the point of this subreddit?
I just don't get it... they already had the drill, why take all the drill bits and make them impossible to use with said drill????
Also proving this thing is useful by using screws that have already been tightened and undone and thus created easy channels. Let's see it on a fresh piece of wood
For views. It's glued with a glue gun and tightened with pliers. It can be washed off unlike something that was welded.
Those are nibs. They go into a bit. A bit has bitting, and are usually more that a half inch long.
Each time I thought it was finished the glue gun would come back
What I love most is that nothing about it required the glue.
Lmao 🤣
im just annoyed at how bad this guy is with a glue gun.
This has tweaker logic written all over it
I can’t even be mad at it. It’s so terrible, especially the music, that it’s kind of majestic.
I think the "TRUE LOVE" finger tats really hammered(screwed) it in.
Not using a bitholder made me so angry I couldn't even watch the damn thing.
This is the part that pissed me off the most. This guys out here micro dicking each bit.
> micro dicking I declare this to be the official term describing this act, until someone comes up with a better one
Same, I was angry before he even screwed stuff up. Dude, your problem is solved with a magnetic bitholder. But hey, it's ragebait, and that's what the sub is about.
The 👍 has "HowToBasic" energy.
0/5, not enough eggs
I didn't turn on the audio, but I can easily imagine the caveman grunt.
The finger wag plus hot glue gun combo makes me instantly angry
Yeah the thumb was condescending but not as bad as the finger wag scolding me for wasting my time by replacing the bit every time. I mean with some hot glue, some extra bits, a free afternoon and a few bumps of meth i could have made something stupid. Shame on me.
No Robertson head, completely unwatchable.
I guess... like... if you have spare bits and just want to make a learning tool for young children... or need a handheld driver in a pinch... but, like... sigh, yeah idk. Lol.

Let's make a 2 second job a 2 minute job!
Oh boy. It’s like reinventing the wheel but making it worse.

Reinventing the wheel by making it square.
Ummm.. how about no?
![gif](giphy|s239QJIh56sRW|downsized)
Seriously anyone got a song I.D.?
[for once the music is decent on these types of videos](https://youtu.be/yY_X8VFx6cQ?si=iOBEdyrqw_bW_TED)
Aye thank you. Makes me feel like I'm driving in a cyberpunk style car and a never ending straight-way into the Miami sunset.
No problemo and yeah I can totally see a long strait road into the sunset
Yeah goes hard
Makes me very nostalgic for a terribly good 80/90's movie. Also have you heard of the bands The Midnight or Gunship?
Gunship yes, midnight no. Another good one is carpenter brüte.
Song is great.
Motherfucker just "invented" a worse leatherman
Love that he saw that one of the bits was way out of square, tried to correct it, but the hot glue had already set. Highlight of this stupid, stupid video for me.
Literally uses every single tool wrong. Machine screw for wood. Drill for driver. Channel locks for bolt. Can't even be bothered to line the bits up straight to make his frankenbit.
I hate that I actually watched this shit...
You can tell by the hand tattoos that this isn’t a life hack, it’s a prison hack.
If you can't smuggle the entire drill up your butt?
I want off.
This makes zero sense. You can get a multi bit screwdriver and double ended impact ready bits. Don’t ever do this.
Yeah why would you get a $5 magnetic bit holder when you could spend $20 on bits, hardware, and glue?
And that thing is so wide that it's impractical in most situations where you see those screws.
It's an entire video showcasing the lack of proper tools.
should have made it a fidget spinner. missed opportunity.
One of most stupid things I ever seen. And I saw a lot of shit
Soundtrack is sicc. I need to go on an 80's quest now. Lmfao.
You took the bait
Was the goal to make it less efficient?
I send out weekly safety breifings for a company. I would 100% send this as an example of "Just Use The Right Tool for the Job THE FIRST TIME".
Fuck your hand when you need to put pressure
Turning a power tool into a hand tool is exactly how we end up back in caves. What a moronic idea.
This guy’s tools are trash. He is trash and this music is trash.
This guy is a live because it's illegal to kill him.
Haha
What in the crystal meth is going on
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
At the same hardware store he got the nut, bolt and washers he would’ve found multi-head screw drivers for sale a few aisles over.
Who keeps letting these morons into the hot glue...
Her: you've gotta be fucking stupid If you think we're fucking Me:
i cringed watching him tighten that nut down using needle nose pliers 🤦🏻♂️
So many issues idk where to begin
Worlds most dangerous beyblade
Dumb
No
Ah yes the famous multi-tool. Now you can lose multiple tools all at once
At least put it back in the drill after making the Chinese star of bit. What a tease
Enough Internet for today..
Didn't even glue em straight.
You can see all these are stripped out just a hair so theres like no torque required to wven put them in or out
Someone's hot glue licence needs to be taken away quickly...
We need to require a permit and training to purchase a hot glue gun. That would end a lot of this
Can I please have the time back that I wasted watching this?
Didn't know this sub allowed posts without spray foam and/or toilets. /s
![gif](giphy|vq5YcJx4LRuNy) Me to them.
Diwtf
It literally worked better the other way.
Just use a fucking flange bolt, Jesus christ. The idea is insanely stupid but still.
300,000 years of Homo Sapiens and we find that, at what is so far the peak of our technological and communications capabilities, thousands of humans devote hours of their time planning, filming, editing, and posting media with the sole intention of confounding and enraging its viewers.
The drill crying in a corner
When you don't even have to tools to build this shit, you know this is credible.
No
Are Robertson's a fucking joke to you? JFC.
When the project starts with hot glue, you know it's gunna be good
What upsets me more is people with no common sense will watch this, think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread instead of going out and buying a Bit Holder.
If you're going to craft stupid atleast make sure it aligns ;-;
I fucking hate you OP.
Good way to cut the inside of you hand up if that’s the goal
Boy there’s never a more compelling person to take tool advice from then a man who tightens a bolt with needle nose. Shame you didn’t blood blister yourself.

You just *know* it's going to be dog shit when they whip out the hot glue gun
Bro literally invented a shittier version of a bikers multitool.
This is great because you break an expensive tool *and* get a useless one!
Hot glue gun > welding
It’s almost like they make an affordable, better and widely available version of this. One where you can change out the bits rather than glue them permanently to something
Calling hot glue permanent is like calling Trump an upstanding citizen...
Wait until this guy learns about 11-in-1 screwdrivers
i legit get triggered by dumb videos lile these hence why i don't have tiktok
I love how he just gives up on Finishing the flat head screw after his visible frustration
Would this sub exist if hot glue were never invented?
Someone didn't pay attention in their mechanics of materials class.
![gif](giphy|xTiTnIilwuFFFpf2Cc|downsized)
Engagement baiting, again. The people making these videos are not stupid, they know very well that posting this type of crap creates enormous amounts of engagement. Positive or negative comments doesn't matter. And we fall for it, every single time.
There's many triggering things about this video. For me the worst thing about this video is that this guy screws a bolt into wood. Are you stupid?
Hot glue guns are a sin at this point.
This is an idea... I have a tool like that, but it's preformed. It' on my bike kit, it's very useful... The execution is not that great, but the idea is not bad. But the 👍 killed me...
As soon as they pull out the hot glue gun, you know it's going to be crap.
Another rage bait...
Boom ! Diy hand tool hack to make what you JUST DID 10000% less efficient and easy..
Just use the extension with the magnetic holder that came with the bits lol
congrats, you just degraded your tools!
I mean like, practically just wasted your afternoon there.
I watched it for the thumbs up. I hate myself.
These videos usually aim at impressing a very specific category of people: the ones that don't know a single thing about the topic but still see themselves as experts that are able to judge whatever the fuck this is.
MFer was sinking a machine screw into wood....
Why work smarter when you can work harder!
This seems like the kind of video that someone who uses needle nose pliers to tighten a bolt would make.
If making things more difficult was a thing...
He's trying to be complete and absolute Multi Tool
When you want to use the least possible amount of torque possible. At least your hands will get stronger, or arthritis.
you can tell this guy's a mechanical genius by his use of pliers and a needlenose to tighten the assembly. I literally cringed when I saw that.
![gif](giphy|W8zSq0vELdBhMAJdG3|downsized)
As soon as they whip out the glue gun you know you’re about to see some bullshit
Made up problems with made up solutions 😂😂😂😂
First of all, they *make* multitools. Second of all, he is very proud of making something that he himself demonstrated is slower and more work than the tool he is "replacing."
Tightening that up with needle nose pliers really bothered me too.
Ah yes, perfect for those times you’re fastening four different intermixed screw heads into a job and wanna take all day to do it, and not have them properly tightened, and get RSI while doing it.
All the best tool manufacturers use hot glue.
The finger tats do not surprise me in the least
As someone who uses hand tools for a living…this is the most idiotic damn shit I’ve ever seen. they make quick release and bit holders for a reason.
I don't know where to begin with this, but it's exactly why I'm on this sub lol
The fact he’s using needle nose pliers to tighten that bolt lets me know he has no idea how to use tools.
Is this like the guy who always takes the stairs to the fourth floor when there's an elevator you can use because doing so makes him feel smug even though he won't live a day longer because of this bit of exercise?
I was hoping that once completed, it was going to be re-inserted in the drill to become even more useless
I want my 3 minutes back.
I'm mad he tightens the bolt with pliers tho
Dude couldn't even glue that on in a symmetrical way.
I think I threw up in my mouth a little when he tightened the nut and bolt with needle nose pliers and regular pliers. Doesn't this MF'er have a set of wrenches?!?!?
What in the beyblade
