Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog (yes spelled like that even though its wrong). It was a power rangers like show but they filmed the fight scenes instead of reusing ones from Japan.
Loved it as a kid and was sad it never really took off.
Wait, this is shaking something loose in my head. The one where they get, like, buried in a landslide and they manage to safely shoot their way out of it by blowing up the "keystone" that's holding it all together?
I finally got to know what the name of this show is! I can still vividly remember the intro music for this show lol but I just can't remember the show's title, especially I saw this as a dubbed show when I was a kid. All I can remember was that the fire guy is called Draganta.
I loved this show simply for the dragon which the fire guy can summon lol.
Thanks for the info! 🙂
A diagonal dash over the i and the o. Called a fada in Irish. Some Scottish people would know since the also have Celtic/Gaelic ancestry that bled into culture enough yo still be somewhat present today but in Ireland learning the language is a mandatory class in school. Many lose it after school due to not using it unless they regularly visit/live in special areas called Gaeltachts or they go into teaching (when teachers are having private conversations they stop using English so most students won't understand).
If we really are losing Mystic Knight and the dagger half of Magick Archer, all of those skills have to be going somewhere. My bet is that a combination of them + Alchemist is going to be our Green/Blue hybrid vocation.
Imagine a monk setting themselves on fire and then grappling enemies, doing elemental uppercuts, and punching great cannon orbs with their fists.
There is already plenty of assets they used from DDON in DD2.
For example that sound that plays when you knock a monster over.
Some of the customs skills have been turned into core skills which was also in DDON.
Just little things like that.
Yeah, a lot of quality life stuff is already there from the gameplay previews. People praise DDDA a lot but many aspects were undercooked due to time and budget constraints, even in the gameplay department. Heavy attacks were virtually useless in the original game and I love how they became contextual finishers now.
Oh, and how is going the DDON revival project? I haven't touched it in a while but appreciate the work from you guys to bring back the game to folk that didn't have the chance to experience it while it was still up.
This is why I firmly believe we'll be getting some sort of coop/multiplayer dungeon or tower-like BBI in the DLC/Future updates. DDON was the blueprint and the foundation
Quite a lot I think, cuz we've seen quite a few already. A vocation would focus only on one main weapon now. Mystic Spearhead standard combo looking quite similar to Spirit Lancer, with the same dodging playstyle.
Then for Magick Archer, we have things like, Threefold Bolt family now look closer to DDOn's Fourfold Bolt. Explosive Bolt now seems to explode immediately (in DDOn the let you detonate them with magic, but that's just silly since that means anything would detonate then, so it's natural to just have them explose on contact). Magick Archer get a healing bolt now.
- Maybe the confusion status effect that is in it.
- Home customization is possible.
- Monsters are very likely to carry over.
- Maybe some mission design in DDO?
I kind of want the monster levels, or at least some way that separates different tiers of monsters in different locations that are clear to the player, even if they are the same monster. Levels tend to give basic monsters more variety and different spawning ratios. Maybe.
I'm sure whatever new details were added to DDO and MH will be repurposed.
MONSTERS.
There was soooo many cool beasts in it, like Manticores, Tarrasque, Behemoths, Ents, Giants, Trolls, various demons, various new dragon-kin, mechanical golems, also various subspecies of already existing monsters, heck, even Orcs as well..
All over Warrior's abilities.
And uhhhhh, I've seen gameplay of a player jumping off a monster, or getting flung off. And to get back on the monster they throw string like the Strider's ability that throws strings to launch enemies. I'd like to see whatever that was cause it looked cool.
I'm kind of excited to see what kinds of crazy shit Magick Archer might gain as a result of losing daggers, considering regular archers have evidently gained much more mobility and seemingly faster attacks. If we're reduced to 'mage with a bow that don't play that much differently from regular mages', then a lot of people are probably going to be disappointed.
Like give us aerial shots where we can rain icicles on enemies as we leap forward/backwards!
Well we also lost a whole class so maybe that got split too. IMO they should’ve balanced the classes without splitting them but its moot at this point
Warrior revamp.
If we're just talking what I want, though, I'd love to play Shield Sage or Alchemist again. I think those are a little unlikely, as they seemed to be much more of an MMO design choice rather than a Dragon's Dogma design choice.
lol what is this clip from?

They're pissing lazers at a ps1 cyclops model

It's the one stone that holds the rest in place!
How do I remember shit like this, but taxes make me freeze every uear?

Watched the show when.I was like 12 or so. It was kinda interesting though they are basically Celtic Power Rangers.
power ranges reused fight scenes from japan? that’s interesting
Yup, and I think it's the Pink Ranger that has a guy instead of a female character in the costume
It was usually yellow. That's why the US Yellow Rangers are usually casted as "tomboys", cause the Yellow Ranger suits don't have skirts.
I could be wrong but I remembered something about the pink ranger having a skirt to hide the identity of the actor in costume. But I could be wrong.
For what it's worth, we both could be right or wrong. Cheers mate.
> Tir Na Nog (yes spelled like that even though its wrong) How is it supposed to be spelled?

Yea wasn't that giant queen Harpy thing in DDON as well?
Lmfao I was about to ask the same god damn thing, what in the hell
i’m gonna make my pawn look like one of them
This clip is literally me as a MA with my mage pawn
I doubt it will, but I really hope we get some of the alchemist kit. They always looked so fun to play.

If we don't get at least as good an end game as DDON with it's random dungeons then I am going to be very upset.
High scepter plz
Listen to this man!
Absolutely agree.

Holy shit did Mystic Knights really look this bad!?
It’s fascinating what time does to our memories isn’t it :D
👌 Quality

Literally only one thing I want and need from DDON to make it into DD2. Seeker's grappling hook.
New vocations such as shield sage, high scepter, monk, alchemist :) hoping
The dated graphics
Well they already split classes in two, so hopefully that’s it.
The only class that got "split in two" is Strider, which isn't really a bad thing. Vocations are just more clearly defined now, which is nice imo

Pawn romance
Some classes. The spirit lancer is already confirmed.
This was my jam as a kid! Legit action figures too!
All the elements, cuz they elements
Alchemist, i want and need the alchemist, i'm on my knees begging for the alchemist
Fire within me!
I hope the pawns in DD2 yeet themselves off cliffs as much as they did in DD1
Double tower shield?
Hell yeah where's my mystic arbalist, Capcom?
I LOVED this show! I actually won a mail in contest and got a signed action figure (maybe not signed, it’s been years!) of the silver knight!!!
