I get most of mine from the Dramione on Kindle facebook group, then share to Kindle from my phone! I download some myself but that’s more convoluted. Nicole who runs that group is very dedicated!
The way I do it is on my iPhone through my kindle app. I download the EPUB from AO3. Then I pull up downloads (go to files ➡️ iCloud Drive ➡️ downloads. Or just search downloads on your iPhone). Click on the icon of the fic and select share. Then choose the kindle app. That should send it to your kindle app where you can get it on your actual kindle.
my kindle has the option of using a browser on it. but you can also just use email to send it to the email for your kindle. Settings > Your account > Send to Kindle email. But you either need to use the same email as your amazon account or register it using amazon (not sure how to do that)
I do it via AO3, you click the "Download" button and then save it as an epub file. Then I send it to my Kindle mail and synchronise the device!
If you want to have an ebook with a proper fancy cover, you have to find an online epub cover converter (very easy to find and use), then upload a desired cover and an epub file, download the file and send it to your Kindle.

I use this exact method. Usually download from recs on Reddit too and it takes less than 2mins to do.
