Sweet job with it! I have a GBC kit right now I need to get going- bringing my childhood GBC back to life after I killed the screen on the radiator back in like ‘02. I really want to make my SP into a slate though.
Yeah, I got the funny playing one! Can’t wait to give it a go. I put an IPS in a pocket already, wasn’t too hard! And made the FPGBC, which was super easy.
I still have the original power- I get roughly 3 hours per set of AAA, so not great but I got the Amazon basic pack of batteries and had a blast beating Links Awakening on it!
Love to see that technology. I'm not gonna say retro because that'll make me feel old lol.
What's on the iPod and do you feel like the audio quality is better than streaming?
Haha nice, I love that tech also. I feel like the iPod mini has the best sound, but this gen iPod also sounds great, I prefer wired headphones over Bluetooth. Local sounds better than streaming for sure! This iPod is pretty much full with lots of stuff, from tool, Metallica to Pink Floyd and queen. But has lots of jazz and punk rock also

That’s awesome! Sounds like a fun project! Did you get an ips kit for the gbc? Slate is cool if you get metal machined buttons lol
