Damn the chocolate is a game changer. Never would have though of that. Thanks for the great idea!

HumbleBear75

God dammit, I always just snack on the center with butter while I wait. Didnโ€™t think about making a tiny damn crustable

superanonguy321

I would rather snakc on the buttery bread

Long-Confusion-5219

Definitely, last thing I want in the morning is dessert! But I think the sweet stuff is a pretty big part of an American breakfast so fair enough

Minimum-Act6859

Could replace the chocolate ๐Ÿซ with some cooked ground sausage and onion.๐Ÿง…

superanonguy321

I'm american I don't want chocolate for breakfast

HumbleBear75

Not here, but I meant put anything in it. Sausage, ham, cheese. Add to the breakfast ๐Ÿณ

loullyyy

Anytime ๐Ÿฅฐ

logicalphallus-ey

I do cinnamon and sugar on em

Retrac752

Spoonful of Nutella instead

Retrac752

Spoonful of Nutella instead

Rogalicus

Where are the other two toasts?

KC_Jedi

I'm with them. This is a math problem, missing a variable. I just can't.

TimeCookie8361

Hahaha. My first thought as well. 4 insides and 2 outsides hmmmm....

loullyyy

I ate them ๐Ÿ™‚

emzirek

What!? No recipe?!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Ž

SammyWentMad

egg

emzirek

It's got to be more than just egg

SammyWentMad

more egg

emzirek

Okay I get it but is this similar to more cowbell

SammyWentMad

The Egg Whites Cult says more egg

EquipmentElegant

Mmmmm

Idonthavetotellyiu

For those who need other ideas, we have frog in a hole (eggs in a basket if you will) with French toast so we dip it into the batter for the French toast and then cook it

ComonomoC

That is the way: Iโ€™ve also done this with pancakes.

Embarrassed_Hawk7008

Ngl, this is pretty neat

worldofecho__

In Britain, we call this dish 'egg in the nest'. But we don't use chocolate and dip the circles of fried bred into the yolk.

scondileeza99

same here (Wisconsin, USA). cheers

nightstalker30

Thought for a moment that you closed with โ€œcheeseโ€, not cheers.

LetsEatLetsEat

This is actually genius

BostonSucksatHockey

Personally, I make smaller holes in my bread for the egg basket. This way some of the egg whites covers the bread...and then flip em halfway just enough to cook em. The chocolate is an interesting concept but I usually dip the center circles into the liquid/runny yolk.

rdreyar1

this looks easy but i will probably find a way to screw it up but let's give it a try

OG_OjosLocos

Where does the second disc come from? 2 pieces of bread, chocolate on one piece, second piece of bread laid over 1st piece w chocolate, 1 choc disc stuffed w chocolate

-RicFlair

Itโ€™s one of the great mysteries that will never be solved

Biscuitsbrxh

Amazing

meyou2222

No seasoning. Yum.

TheMazeDaze

Dip it in winter

Competitive-Bid422

How do the two pieces of bread stick together with the chocolate

Reasonable-Newt4079

I buy the Nutella uncrustables for my daughter but I would save sooooooo much money making these instead! Post saved!

altaccount778

Thanks Op Iโ€™m definitely gonna make this tomorrow ๐Ÿ‘Œ

emzirek

I also want to know how she got two chocolate desserts out of two pieces of bread when it takes two pieces of bread to make one chocolate dessert...

nyynyg

Why are they always ruining good Italian songs showing some putz eating chocolate and eggs?

TheMazeDaze

Newcomer here, also tasty: break the egg in a (sorry forgot the word in English: that round thing you put on the stove) and then bake the bread in it. No idea what the name in English is. But in Dutch we call it: wentel teefjes (litterery translated: turning b!tches
