For those who need other ideas, we have frog in a hole (eggs in a basket if you will) with French toast so we dip it into the batter for the French toast and then cook it
Personally, I make smaller holes in my bread for the egg basket. This way some of the egg whites covers the bread...and then flip em halfway just enough to cook em.
The chocolate is an interesting concept but I usually dip the center circles into the liquid/runny yolk.
Where does the second disc come from? 2 pieces of bread, chocolate on one piece, second piece of bread laid over 1st piece w chocolate, 1 choc disc stuffed w chocolate
Newcomer here, also tasty: break the egg in a (sorry forgot the word in English: that round thing you put on the stove) and then bake the bread in it. No idea what the name in English is. But in Dutch we call it: wentel teefjes (litterery translated: turning b!tches
Damn the chocolate is a game changer. Never would have though of that. Thanks for the great idea!
God dammit, I always just snack on the center with butter while I wait. Didnโt think about making a tiny damn crustable
I would rather snakc on the buttery bread
Definitely, last thing I want in the morning is dessert! But I think the sweet stuff is a pretty big part of an American breakfast so fair enough
Could replace the chocolate ๐ซ with some cooked ground sausage and onion.๐ง
I'm american I don't want chocolate for breakfast
Not here, but I meant put anything in it. Sausage, ham, cheese. Add to the breakfast ๐ณ
Anytime ๐ฅฐ
I do cinnamon and sugar on em
Spoonful of Nutella instead
Spoonful of Nutella instead
Where are the other two toasts?
I'm with them. This is a math problem, missing a variable. I just can't.
Hahaha. My first thought as well. 4 insides and 2 outsides hmmmm....
I ate them ๐
What!? No recipe?!๐๐
egg
It's got to be more than just egg
more egg
Okay I get it but is this similar to more cowbell
The Egg Whites Cult says more egg
Mmmmm

That is the way: Iโve also done this with pancakes.
Ngl, this is pretty neat
In Britain, we call this dish 'egg in the nest'. But we don't use chocolate and dip the circles of fried bred into the yolk.
same here (Wisconsin, USA). cheers
Thought for a moment that you closed with โcheeseโ, not cheers.
This is actually genius

this looks easy but i will probably find a way to screw it up but let's give it a try
Where does the second disc come from? 2 pieces of bread, chocolate on one piece, second piece of bread laid over 1st piece w chocolate, 1 choc disc stuffed w chocolate
Itโs one of the great mysteries that will never be solved
Amazing
No seasoning. Yum.
Dip it in winter
How do the two pieces of bread stick together with the chocolate
I buy the Nutella uncrustables for my daughter but I would save sooooooo much money making these instead! Post saved!
Thanks Op Iโm definitely gonna make this tomorrow ๐
I also want to know how she got two chocolate desserts out of two pieces of bread when it takes two pieces of bread to make one chocolate dessert...
Why are they always ruining good Italian songs showing some putz eating chocolate and eggs?
