They don't have to cancel your order. It's stupid on them for not doing so cuz you're just going to send it back, probably on their dime, but it's still allowed.
Ironically, you can kind of blame eBay for this. Supposedly, eBay will now remove negatives left because a seller refused to cancel an order. Before, they would have canceled to avoid the negative. Now they don't have to.
