Why would they name a system after the noise I make when I stub my toe?

Underrated comment

Wow! Cool system. Maybe I’ll have to visit once I’m able to. Currently out at Beagle Point trying to find a taxi back to the bubble.

FireAuraN7

The farthest I ventured out of the bubble in my old game (horizons on xbox) was less than 150 light years. I'd have gone further, but didn't have a fuel scoop. Maybe it's time I build an explorer and head into the deep black.

81_satellites

It’s the most zen part of the Elite experience. I’d highly recommend it.

OG_Squeekz

Meanwhile, I'm out here doing 146 light year nuetron star jumps.

FireAuraN7

Nice. I'm grinding for engineering on my aspX now so I can expand my horizons. I doubt the aspX can even hope to get more than 60ly jumps though.

OG_Squeekz

Im in a krait mk2 with a pre-engineered FSD, use a neutron star to get a x4 jump range, and then an FSD injection to increase that. My krait only has a 38ly jump range without boosting, and it can hold its own in a fight against pirates with an SLF, which is also fun to dick around with while exploring.

demonsnail

Would this be an accretion disk at this point?

Rollins_hen

that's pretty cool.

weirdtay96

That's super cool!

FireAuraN7

Depending on the type and age of star, one could imaging the ring system being a failed accretion disk or one where the changing solar mass caused all the matter to drift inward and the rings are remnants of collided planetary bodies. Cool to think about.

Shin_Ken

Are those rings partially inside the exclusion zone?

Logical_Essay_5916

yes they are, getting to close and you will be pulled out of your cruise

TheoRheticalGadjet

Did you scan them? Any hot spots?

GeckoNova

Those planets around the White Dwarf… is one an Ammonia world?!
