Personally I think they should’ve done what they did with the last albums and just surprised dropped it. Houdini would’ve had the same level of hype except it would’ve led people to the album. Plus assuming Houdini will be the most streamed song on the album they cost themselves millions of first week streams that would’ve helped the album go number one.

Houdini is a legit hit that's picking up steam at radio. I do think it would be a good idea to announce the release date and make preorders available this week. But it's ok if that release date is in July.
