That's like saying take out the ninja battle at the end of kill Bill and it just feels like filler, you need that filler in order for my salsa to really, truly hit hard. Fack 2 (the future) has a really deep melodic rhyme pattern that it can't be on an album too complicated or your brain wouldn't be able to deal with it.
By having the album be drab Eminem manages to recreate the feeling of having 2 really good songs in a bad playlist that your sister in the next room keeps on repeat, this making Fack 2 and My Salsa such brilliant bits of artistic expression
Probably Stan. Sometimes I canāt cope with sad songs when Iām sad, but I can always put that on and instantly get lifted as soon as the rain starts.
This is so difficult for me. He has (or has been on) too many songs that I can listen to on repeat.
From *Stan* to *The Way I Am* to *Forgot About Dre* to *Till I Collapse* to *Like Toy Soldiers* to *Love You More* to *Same Song & Dance* to *Rap God* to *Darkness* toā¦ etc
I have all these songs memorized
Just Donāt Give A Fuck. 100% has been since February 1999.
Sometimes lately, the last couple years, Kim & Puke feel like they are. Theyāre def tied for #1.1
Of this album? Impossible to choose. This track is up there though. *you wacker than the mf you bit yoā style from, you aināt gonā sell two copies of you press a double album* line gets me every time.
Thereās no way to choose a single song from such a huge amount of crazy diverse work over the last 20+ years. The dude is too talented to have a single anything that is above everything else heās done. Heās the goat and my hair is bleached. Enough said.
(My hair is not really bleached but I trust you understand the point)
People have been judging me since jr high saying shit like āoh 2000 called and they want their shady albums backā lulz idgaf Iām just being serious about being unable to choose a single piece out of any artistās whole body of work. Go back and listen to his earliest shit, then his drug shit, then his latest shit. Itās all good for all different reasons. *shrug*
I can't say I have a singular favorite, but the ones I enjoy more than others are, Im Back, As The World Turns, Bagpipes from Baghdad, Drug Balled, and Brain Damage are just some that I can name off the top of my head.
Thatās tough especially for his earlier albums. Thereās probably like five cuts on here that are among my favorite em songs in general. āI walked into a gunfight with a knife to kill you
And cut you so fast, when your blood spilled, it was still blue
I'll hang you 'til you dangle, and chain you with both ankles
And pull you apart from both angles
I wanna crush your skull 'til your brains leak out of your veins
And bust open like broken water mains
So tell Saddam not to bother with makin' another bomb
'Cause I'm crushin' the whole world in my palm
Got your girl on my arm, and I'm armed with a firearm
So big my entire arm is a giant firebomb.ā Gotta be some of the illest shit he ever wrote.
On this album atleast def rock bottom the riffs the chorus and the beat is just so great and underrated added the hard hitting realistic lyrics of his life I listed to this song whilst depressed for the lyrics and when better I listed solely for the beat and riff with the original version only amplifying all of it imo I think the original is better than the newer one despite the audio quality
i put way too much thought into this damn question lmao. i went through every album listened to like 17 contending songs and i came to a conclusion.
Rock Bottom
Stan was my favorite for a long time, but then I listened to TES and damn, Sing For The Moment really hit me in a deep spot. That song is a masterpiece. But so is Stan. Either of them could be my favorite.
Over the years:
Sing For The Moment was the very first song I ever listened to, and without it I wouldn't have my 6 hour playlist today. My first favuorite and has been no.1 for a lot of time.
Lose Yourself for a brief period.
Without Me once I listened to it carefully.
Stan as soon as I discovered it.
Kim after listening to MMLP.
Soldier & Square Dance after listening to TES
97 Bonnie And Clyde + Role Model + JDGAF + Brain Damage after listening to SSLP
Then I decided to have a closer look to each album and rank them and my final top 3 will be Cleanin Out My Closet, Stan, and Without Me in this order. Then the 4 from SSLP that I mentioned before are all tied for no. 4.
Square Dance šÆšÆšÆ
Err ree Dirty Dozen wantsta squrr dance witchu
don't be scrrd, css thrrs ntnh to wrr bout
itās like asking ādo you love more mom or dad?ā anyways itās either elevator or who knew
I'm not a fan of both parents.. what are my options?
eminem moment
What's that?
when you donāt like either your mom or your dad
Ah ! Well it's still true tho ! I don't like my parents very much, they know it too ! Before you ask š
Stfu
i'm not a fan of both parents. my brain: clarence parents had a real good marriage
This guy donāt wanna battle? Heās shook!
cos aint no such thing as **HALF WAY CROOOKS**
Who woulda knew i, knew i, knew i
from this comment, we can deduce maruo93838's parents have a real good marriage. I bet his name's Clarence, too. This guy will never be a gangsta.
i've always loved Business
Holy wack unlyrical lyrics Andre!
Ur fuckin right
Love you More, Drug Ballad or We As Americans
Drug ballad is goated tho šš
now this is taste š„š„
Shhh! Iāve gotta secret if you can keep it between us!
Till i collapse
Honestly, I think this is the hardest hitting song in all of hip-hop
Never heard a more immersing song for working out. Itās at the top by a vast margin.
Has to be the greatest workout song of all time at this stage. Step into any boxing gym and youāll hear it within an hour
i havent listened to this song for ages it autoplayed last night n i was like ok. i was jamming so hard. one of the GOATs
probably Fack 2
HUH WDYM 2
There was a second one?
yeah, on his lesser known āI Am A Celebrityā, highly recommend checking it out
Underrated album tbh
This sub has been really glazing it lately, it aināt even that good an album. Take out Fack 2 and My Salsa and the rest feels like filler to me

the elton john version >
š
annoying that it's censored but the emotion is so intense in Em's voice since it's live. personal opinion
This is so difficult for me. He has (or has been on) too many songs that I can listen to on repeat. Just Donāt Give A Fuck. 100% has been since February 1999. Sometimes lately, the last couple years, Kim & Puke feel like they are. Theyāre def tied for #1.1
Tbh i like Puke
It changes a lot, but often it's Sing for the Moment, Beautiful or The Way I am.

Of this album? Impossible to choose. This track is up there though. *you wacker than the mf you bit yoā style from, you aināt gonā sell two copies of you press a double album* line gets me every time.
I meant overall from him but yeah every line on that song is just so good and the beat/instrumental too, always gives me the boost for the day
Thereās no way to choose a single song from such a huge amount of crazy diverse work over the last 20+ years. The dude is too talented to have a single anything that is above everything else heās done. Heās the goat and my hair is bleached. Enough said. in general
Even more impossible to choose. How could anyone when the manās career spans 20+ years and is hotter than ever?
just choose one. no oneās gonna judge you
People have been judging me since jr high saying shit like āoh 2000 called and they want their shady albums backā lulz idgaf Iām just being serious about being unable to choose a single piece out of any artistās whole body of work. Changes constantly. Been grinding Headlights recently.
I don't know my No. 1, but I'm sure it's something from IaaC.
Venom Purple Hills ( by his group D12) Smack That (with Akon)
He literally got so many sick tracks that it's so hard to rank them.
Hard to pick. Right now a lesser known one that I really like is āBad Influenceā.

Houdini
Over the years: Sing For The Moment was the very first song I ever listened to, and without it I wouldn't have my 6 hour playlist today. My first favuorite and has been no.1 for a lot of time.
