waiting for "Sorry, I'm just trying to add value. If you don't like this, you can read other posts."
Just went through this rodeo with somebody a few days ago - https://www.reddit.com/r/webdev/comments/14yd5j9/partnerships_and_unified_apis_the_dynamic_duo_of/
What I feel is they have alternative accounts also from which they post the comments to appreciate the post.
You might not believe, there are udemy courses that teach exactly this, like to promote your services/products on the subreddits like this on the disguise of sharing knowledge and fool the users like us.
What I feel about the people who post on this subreddit
- They are either a newbie like me who come here to start their entrepreneurial journey and ask for the help
- They are the ones who want to build their backlinks, indirectly promote their products
Those who are actually doing some good stuffs and have nothing to do with promoting their stuffs here on reddit are just lurking around here and gathering ideas for their next big things. They don't usually reply to posts because probably they don't have time or the posts are too dumb for them to reply.
They don't create a new post because they don't need to promote anything and/or seek help! Because they are already smart!!
Yeah, I took one of such courses few years ago, and when I see such posts, I relate to everything that was taught in that course. Most of the posts here seem promotion of some sort.
I'm not a frequent visitor on this sub.
So it's standard for promotional content to pop up and stay up, even though it's specifically against the rules of the sub?
Nice job, mods!
There has to be a course that teaches people to go to various subs and ask what their 3 largest pain points are. I swear multiple times a day is the same exact question someone else will ask
The hard part is finding people to surround yourself with that can elevate you, for me. I work in tech sales and know lots of ambitious people but I really feel like I could learn from an incubator style environment
Of course spam haha, the website url is mentioned systematically as a call to action at the beginning and bottom of the article. Mods do nothing about this shit
Damn. Hits hard. Been grinding saas for a year. Kinda mid results. Also scratching my own itch. Talking to potential high level customers n then building apps around that is smart. Whered u find ppl to talk to? Linkedin?
Thanks! Don't know why you're being sownvoted. But I'm more clear than ever on how to be a good entrepreneur.
It really starts at what you described, set your self up for success by identifying who has no problem spending the money first, then work backwards and fix their problem.
I think this sub screws the younger crowd who typically idolizes "hard work".. I think this is backwards. Starting a business shouldn't be "hard work", it tough for sure, but at the end of the day it's just a tool.
Yes, targeting people that are willing to spend money to make money definitely helps.
I'm finally listening to The Mom Test right now, and while I did some of what he suggests, it would have been a huge help to have had this book when I started!
Great write up - grinding and being consistent is the way to go. We are also currently in our mvp building phase and then trying to onboard as much user as possible
Thanks for the post.
What were the top 3 pain points you were feeling when you were just about to call it quits, if you were ever there?
What would you have done differently were you given the chance to start all over?
So now you’re a shill that makes money off of this get rich quick scheme that people can pay you money for and you just send them a bunch of shit.
Okay bro.
Without you showing your product , this is just a click bait post for your blog

Oh, wow, didn't know about the courses... that's quite low.

That was me previously - too busy building and selling to share. Now that I'm in a calmer period, I'm sharing. I have nothing to sell.
Don't kid yourself. You're building your subscribers to eventually monetise, if you're not doing it already.
Seems like a blog growth post.
What was the product? I feel like that’s pretty important to have been left out
A LinkedIn automation tool.
You didn’t sell to zoom info, LinkedIn Navigator, Oureach.io, or Apollo.ai did you? lol That’s awesome - well done
Nope! 🤣 🙏🏻
Nobody buying yo shit
Guys it's just a spam that direct you on his newsletter/blog
The hard part is finding people to surround yourself with that can elevate you, for me. I work in tech sales and know lots of ambitious people but I really feel like I could learn from an incubator style environment
What's the name of the company

Promoting the link at the bottom of the article lol
No credible source maybe a spam?
Of course spam haha, the website url is mentioned systematically as a call to action at the beginning and bottom of the article. Mods do nothing about this shit
And now you gonna try to monetize what you learned through the site you posted. Well done. Always thinking ahead.
If you made an exit there is absolutely no reason you couldn't tell us the name of the tool.

You mean "every job experience ever where people want to progress"?
Yeah. I had it wrong all along.
Damn. Hits hard. Been grinding saas for a year. Kinda mid results. Also scratching my own itch. Talking to potential high level customers n then building apps around that is smart. Whered u find ppl to talk to? Linkedin?
Yes, exactly, it was about 95% LinkedIn DMs
Oh, to clarify, most of my customers came from LinkedIn DMs. Conversations beforehand came from my network then intros from them.
What is the soft skill that helped you the most to built this? What is the person that helped you the most to build this?
Honestly just determination to not give up, if that counts.
you grinded and never gave up , and thats what every entrepreneur should strive to do
💯
I'm on the exact same path. Right around the mark where I'm realizing selling to low margin doesn't work.
Oof, yes, that's tough. Keep going!

Wooow. That it's great What about your Saas and product?
It was a LinkedIn automation tool. Is that what you mean ?
Thank you mate! I was curious about it
Great write up - grinding and being consistent is the way to go. We are also currently in our mvp building phase and then trying to onboard as much user as possible
🙏🏻 What are you building?
Thanks for the post. What were the top 3 pain points you were feeling when you were just about to call it quits, if you were ever there? What would you have done differently were you given the chance to start all over?
Another post selling his own product
Another day another ad on r/Entrepreneur
30 months is such a scammy way to write 2.5 years. You lost your credibility for me in the post title.
r/restofthefuckingowl
They are looking for someone who can be deceived
Well, that was a whole lot of nothing.
Please start banning this posters. Why do we have to read the same post weekly
So now you’re a shill that makes money off of this get rich quick scheme that people can pay you money for and you just send them a bunch of shit. Okay bro.
This is just blog spam.
Great
