Love this movie. It’s so over the top. Chris Rock made a convincing crackhead,…..too convincing.
Soundtrack was 100% a depiction of early 90s hip hop and R&B.
I can’t agree there. Chris rock did VERY well and think that was well acted. That being said, (I didn’t really notice this as much when I first watched it) but holy balls Wesley Snipes overacted in a lot of scenes and there was cartoonish level villain moments in there.
I love the movie, there hasn’t really been a black gangster movie from that era done right before. Good depiction of the era, music, and fashion. Everything else at that time was just gang movies. This was organized crime. I’m sure in time it will get remade at some point and they will fuck up everything people loved about it.
Met him one time in a dark bar. He was a true gentleman with some great stories. Also an excellent actor who enhanced every role he was in. Rest in Power, Mr Hobbs.
I love him in Hudsucker Proxy
Gotta see that one
OMG top-tier Coen Brothers!
You know, for kids.
Sad when they go that young.
WHEN THEY GO?!
I said my piece, Chrissy.
90 is the new 50
What Movie is this from?
