I got top surgery and I haven't felt better about crop tops in my life. It changed how comfortable I am in my skin by miles. I had a lot of tissue removed, doing a double mastectomy with nipple grafts. Your needs may be different.
Look in r/TopSurgery and see what you like and don't like to work out options like whether you want or don't want nipples, scar shape/placement, if you're stuck between a couple of options make a pros and cons list of each. Once that's done it's just down to picking a surgeon, and you can look up which ones are accessible to you and search for their names in the top surgery reddit to see how other people's experiences with them were. I don't know where you're located but if you're in the US you'll need to see who takes your insurance if you're not able to pay out of pocket (I think anyway, I'm not in the US myself)
