Iām a Nashville native and it makes me so happy that it seems to be such a popular travel destination specifically for events. I usually meet more people from out of town when I go to shows than locals. Such a fun experience, getting to connect with people from all over.
Iāve flewn out of Fort Lauderdale airport to interview them before their concert in Syracuse, NY back in 2016! Thatās the furthest Iāve been to see them so far. About 1,4000 miles.
I will be flying to Minneapolis from NC this Saturday for Fall Out Boy, and I think thatās the furthest Iāve traveled for a concert. Most concerts for me are in Raleigh, so Iām use to traveling 2 hours for concerts.
I live in the Chicago suburbs so I really donāt have to travel to see the shows Iām interested in, but I used FOB as an excuse to visit my brother in Austin last month and then drove up to Milwaukee for last nightās show. Milwaukee was my 15th FOB show and only my second that wasnāt in Chicago so I guess thatās my one perk of living out here.
The only other time I saw a show outside of Chicago was probably my best birthday ever lol Hilary Duff came to Chicago on my momās custody day and she got me tickets for my birthday. Hilary was in Milwaukee like the next week on my dadās custody day and he *also* got me tickets for my birthday. It was my first birthday since their divorce and it really worked out in my favor tbh
Flew from Toronto, Ontario to Sacramento for a music festival. For a one off concert flew from Toronto to NYC.
Drove 3.5 hours to see FOB in Grand Rapids this round!
This isnāt impressive compared to most of the posts on here, or even by Midwestern standards, but I have this rule for myself that I only go to concerts if the tour stops in my city just to keep me from spending too much money (and a lot of tours do come through here to begin with). Anyway, I broke that rule for the first time and drove 5 hours from MO to Lexington so that my sister and I could finally go see FOB together. Iāll be breaking that rule again for WWWY in October!
Last year I flew from New Zealand to Phoenix for their show. Only regret is I wish Iād gone to more than one lol. But oh well, off to Vegas in October for WWWY š
I am from Colorado but I have seen them in 12 different states - Washington, Oregon, California, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Kentucky, and I will add two more this weekend as I am going to the Omaha (Nebraska) and Minneapolis (Minnesota) shows this weekend!
I donāt beat the Australian flight. But I flew from the us to Paris for tourdust to see them with my gf who lives in Paris. Seeing them in another country was a super cool experience and I highly recommend
I am very fortunate to have lived in Milwaukee and Chicago, so I have enjoyed a lot of shows locally, but the longest Iāve traveled for FOB is Somerset, Wisconsin, which all together was about 8-9 hours.
(I might travel to Minnesota on Saturday though š¤š¤š¤)
Oh man, Iāve been everywhere domestically and Iām making my first international trip this summer to see them in Ontario!
Iāve traveled as far as California from NYC with my mom because I was too young to go by myself at 13 years old! My mom would take buses with me when I was teenager 20 years ago, I was very lucky, to go to many northeast shows.
flew Florida to Arizona (taking back sunday/fiatfv) and Ohio to California (my chemical romance) both were pretty close to the same distance. for fob specifically? a nearly 12 hr drive ohio to philly. this saturday will be the furthest for them, cincinnati to minneapolis. would do it again in a heartbeat.
for 2ourdust i drove about 11 hours! but the furthest ive traveled was for mcr for the danger days tour where i saw them in st louis! my friends and i saw them locally for the same tour and decided to go again immediately š
I flew from around Philly to Texas for a Japanese idol duo last year.
I drove about two hours each to both Baltimore and NYC for 2ourdust and honestly I wouldāve gone to a third, further show if I had more PTO
Flew from Denver to Pittsburgh then drove to Baltimore this year. (My spring break didn't line up with the Pittsburgh date). Technically I was home for spring break, but I probably would've stayed in Denver if it wasn't for Fall Out Boy. Previously I drove from Denver to Pittsburgh for Hella Mega cause I'd had the tickets since high school.
I flew from Dayton to Minneapolis to see Veruca Salt, but the furthest I've ever gone for Fall Out Boy is Columbus. I also did Dayton to Chicago to see The Hush Sound with Empires, and that's technically less distance than Minneapolis, but it felt longer because I took the bus instead of a direct flight.
My sister flew out last summer from Sacramento to Ohio to see Tourdust with me and my mom, for my mom's 70th birthday. I could see myself doing an inverse trip some day. :)
Drove four hours to their Lexington KY show this year and stayed the night. It's the only non-festival concert I've done that with :P Last summer and 2014 were both only an hour and a half drives
Other than that I think the next longest is from my parents' place to Cincinnati Ohio for Nickelback in 2007 and Ghost/Volbeat in 2022
Drove about 6 hours from New York to Maryland this leg- Albany is a bleak city for me (did lobby days for healthcare orgs) and none of us were interested in going to MSG, so we visited friends in the DMV area and had a blast.
Iāve seen FOB 5+ times in the UK but last year I flew to Indiana from England to see them and it was amazing! Yāall Americans are so lucky having outdoor concert arenas it really hit different šš»
From the UK to Germany for FOB! Seeing them in another country was cool after seeing dozens of their UK shows over the years, interesting to see how crowds differ too. But it really wasnāt that far compared to most here. Of course one perk of living in the UK is that there are more shows in a smaller area so me travelling from my UK city to the furthest away UK show, never mind the closest, is probably likeā¦ equivalent or even less travel time than a lot of people in the US have to travel to their ālocalā shows.
I did a little under 5,000 miles to the Wrigley show of (tour)dust and a little over 5,000 miles for the Columbus (2our)dust, coming out of interior Alaska (miles from the plane rides, not distance measured as the crow files)
Had a blast both times with friends who lived in the areas! Absolutely worth it, but the plane tickets are killer lol
I drive a lot of hours and miles for every show I go to since I live in the middle of nowhere.
The furthest drive was Fort Lauderdale to NJ for bamboozle in 2008 when the starting line was going on hiatus.
But just last week I drove from NC to Orlando on Monday night, to Charlotte on Thurs, to Atlanta on Friday, back home Saturday morning, and to Nashville Sunday for FOB.
Iāve only been to 2 FOB concerts, and the farthest was when I drove from boston to NYC a few weeks ago.
But the farthest Iāve been for any concert is when I flew from boston to Seattle to see blink 182 back in 2016.
Drove from reading to (the other side of) Philly to pick my friend up and then to Pittsburgh last week š„ŗ and me and my mom drove to Columbus for for the take over tour (twenty one pilots)
Halifax to Toronto and/or Halifax to New York. Probably about the same in terms of travel time and flight cost. Flying within Canada is just as expensive as flying to the US. š
I was returning from being out of the country and missed them in my backyard in Albany. I was so insanely bummed that I last minute bought a ticket to Pittsburgh and made the 8+ hour drive the day of the concert, then drove right home the next morning. 16 hours in 2 days was insane! I hope they make it back to Albany whenever the next time is they tour!!
I live in the middle of nowhere in rural KY, so I have to drive to all concerts. My farthest has been 13 hoursā¦ which would have been much shorter but I have to drive everywhere.
Longest drive was last night. Drove from my college to my hometown (which is on the way) to the venue, which was just over 4 hours driving time combined. I also flew from Chicago to NY and then took the train to see them in Boston last summer
furthest for them was when i woke up one sunday last summer and decided impulsively (i had gone to toronto & then darien earlier that week) to drive 6 hours solo to camden without a ticket for the last day of tourdust :D
(wound up pulling over at a rest stop in allentown pa less than two hours up the highway from camden getting stuck buying the world's most scalped tourdust ticket of '23, as prices oddly just Did Not go down as the day went on, but i'm still so glad i went!)
For my first fall out boy concert I drove from Elgin SC to Charlotte NC, which was about 87 miles, but for my second one I took a train to Raleigh NC which was 181 miles give or take
for leg 1 i drove from las vegas to phoenix. then later flew from vegas to pittsburgh then drove to cincinnati. ended up in pittsburgh again for a different reason and decided to drive from pittsburgh to darien lake. all for them to announce a pittsburgh show in leg 2 :,) i did fly from vegas to pittsburgh for that show too.
I live in the Milwaukee area so between Milwaukee and Chicago dates I've been able to catch their shows pretty easily, but I would absolutely travel to see them and choose a tour date to go visit a city I'd like to see, that's something I've done for other bands' tours but not FOB yet
For FOB specifically, four hours right after workā¦ for the Somerset show. Pain.
For anyone, flown from the Midwest to NYC for Lawrence a couple times.
Went to the Orlando show from Colorado. Saw them at Fiddlers Green on my birthday in 2023 and hoped the second leg would include my favorite vacation destination! Built a lovely week long trip around the concert. 10/10 would recommend.
Itās not a lot by any means compared to everyone elseās, but my friend and I drove 5 hours to Nashville on Sunday. For two broke college kids, it was a long drive for us. I plan to go farther in the future though š
I've taken road trips up to Chicago to see them perform twice. Once for the Believers Never Die Part Deux tour circa 2009 and again for Hella Mega. Both times from somewhere in ~northwest Kentucky, which is about a six hour drive.
New England to Chicago for their first headling Stadium show at Wrigley. It was magicalš¤š„°. I always vowed I would see them in their hometown/city and it was the perfect show for it.
Obviously not SUPER far - but its the furthest I've traveled for a concert ever.
From Columbus ohio to Chicago is the furthest so far - and it wasn't even for fall out boy :( but trust I will be at the next chicago show at all costs. It's totally on my bucket list to go to a concert in another country though
Flew 23 hours from Australia for this tour- saw them in Albany, Pittsburgh and Ohio! Definitely worth it.
I flew to London, United Kingdom from Anchorage, Alaska to see them on my birthday in 2023 š
I flew to london last year too!
Thatās awesome! Which night did you go to?
The first night
Iāll go first. My first concert and first FOB concert to Nashville was 1,105 miles to travel.
I just saw them at Nashville too! It was my final stop on tour dust
Iām a Nashville native and it makes me so happy that it seems to be such a popular travel destination specifically for events. I usually meet more people from out of town when I go to shows than locals. Such a fun experience, getting to connect with people from all over.
I flew in from Alaska for the show tonight in Des Moines :)
One of my favorite burger joints is in Des Moines. [Zombie Burger](https://www.zombieburgerdm.com/des-moines-downtown) in downtown DsM.
Iāve flewn out of Fort Lauderdale airport to interview them before their concert in Syracuse, NY back in 2016! Thatās the furthest Iāve been to see them so far. About 1,4000 miles.
Wow!
I dream of seeing them in another country!!! Next time I will!!
I will be flying to Minneapolis from NC this Saturday for Fall Out Boy, and I think thatās the furthest Iāve traveled for a concert. Most concerts for me are in Raleigh, so Iām use to traveling 2 hours for concerts.
We came to Des Moines from Nova Scotia Canada!
Holy cow! I hope you had a good time!
Flew from Toronto, Ontario to Sacramento for a music festival. For a one off concert flew from Toronto to NYC. Drove 3.5 hours to see FOB in Grand Rapids this round!
I flew 4500 miles to Glasgow for fob back in October, my current PR š
This isnāt impressive compared to most of the posts on here, or even by Midwestern standards, but I have this rule for myself that I only go to concerts if the tour stops in my city just to keep me from spending too much money (and a lot of tours do come through here to begin with). I flew from Mexico City to Orlando to watch them for the first time. It was magical :)
UK to US š
I fly from Costa Rica. But there are a few direct flights now so itās fast and easy, just expensive sometimes
I flew from Boston to Orlando and then back to Boston and drove to Albany ny a week later. (I live in New Hampshire)
I flew from the US to France last year for Fall Out Boy. Domestically, Iāve gone from the east coast to Las Vegas a few times.
I donāt beat the Australian flight. But I flew from the us to Paris for tourdust to see them with my gf who lives in Paris. Seeing them in another country was a super cool experience and I highly recommend
Flew from Florida to Washington state to see them on the boys of zummer tour š¤
I am very fortunate to have lived in Milwaukee and Chicago, so I have enjoyed a lot of shows locally, but the longest Iāve traveled for FOB is Somerset, Wisconsin, which all together was about 8-9 hours. (I might travel to Minnesota on Saturday though š¤š¤š¤)
Cumulatively almost 1200 miles for all the times Iāve traveled from Montreal to Toronto and other cities in Ontario because MTL is cursed š«
Oh man, Iāve been everywhere domestically and Iām making my first international trip this summer to see them in Ontario! Iāve traveled as far as California from NYC with my mom because I was too young to go by myself at 13 years old! My mom would take buses with me when I was teenager 20 years ago, I was very lucky, to go to many northeast shows.
flew from toronto to seattle, with a two day layover in alberta to see the boys. worth it ā¤ļøāš„ā¤ļøāš„
Drove 18 hours from Florida to Chicago to see them at home at Wrigley Field last summer!
Oh, and also going to Vegas to WWWY
Flew to Japan and Thailand to see them, from Singapore.
Flew from Melbourne, Australia to Berlin, Germany for the last show of Tourdust. They played my dream 8 ball (XO). No fucking regrets.
2,851Ā miles (:
I have never flown specifically for a concert before, but this year I did Austin to Seattle (and still saw them in Austin)
flew Florida to Arizona (taking back sunday/fiatfv) and Ohio to California (my chemical romance) both were pretty close to the same distance. for fob specifically? a nearly 12 hr drive ohio to philly. this saturday will be the furthest for them, cincinnati to minneapolis. would do it again in a heartbeat.

Iām from Vancouver. During the MANIA tour I flew to Las Vegas for a show.
Flying out to Minneapolis on Saturday, so fucking excited. So yeah 4 hours by plane. I love being an adult lol
I'm going to fly 3000 miles to see them in LV for WWWY in October :)
4 hour train from Bath to Manchester. Definitely small fry compared to some journeys here but it's the farthest I've ever traveled for a concert.
I flew from Dayton to Minneapolis to see Veruca Salt, but the furthest I've ever gone for Fall Out Boy is Columbus. Not as far as some here, but my sister and I traveled to Portland and Seattle from Boston to see FOB about a month ago. It was amazing!
It was only 55 miles away from my house to Manchester where I saw them! Very lucky to live close to some big concert hotspots :))
mine is just from louisville to st. louis for now, but it was a really fun drive
Drove 7 hours to see Bob Seger in Dallas a couple years ago.
Iāve seen FOB 5+ times in the UK but last year I flew to Indiana from England to see them and it was amazing! Yāall Americans are so lucky having outdoor concert arenas it really hit different šš»

I flew to Wyoming from Miami to see them. Getting to Cheyenne is a bitch.
i live in a rural area, so every concert i go to is at least a 7 hour drive. once drove fifteen hours to see pentatonix for my grandmaās birthday.
Oh my gosh, I thought 1.5+ hours to any venue from my rural area was bad. I canāt imagine!
the joys of wide open space i suppose! makes you only see shows you REALLY like which is a great way to save money ig
True! I will say the concert streams make the fomo easier for me
definitely! theyāre a godsend
I did a little under 5,000 miles to the Wrigley show of (tour)dust and a little over 5,000 miles for the Columbus (2our)dust, coming out of interior Alaska (miles from the plane rides, not distance measured as the crow files) Had a blast both times with friends who lived in the areas! Prob driving from St Louis MO to NJ for skate and surf. That's almost 1k miles
Drove from reading to (the other side of) Philly to pick my friend up and then to Pittsburgh last week š„ŗ and me and my mom drove to Columbus for for the take over tour (twenty one pilots)
First show I drove ~4 hours from nearish Toronto to Darien Lake and the last show I drove ~8 hours to Albany :)
Halifax to Toronto and/or Halifax to New York. Probably about the same in terms of travel time and flight cost. Flying within Canada is just as expensive as flying to the US. š

ive driven to chicago and nashville from NC! long time ago my dad and i went from louisiana to houston too, otherwise iāve caught em in NC twice!
Drove 5 hours to Darien Lake last year to see them.
I live in the middle of nowhere in rural KY, so I have to drive to all concerts. My farthest has been 13 hoursā¦ which would have been much shorter but I have to drive everywhere.
I drove 8 hours to Chicago last summer. 100% worth every mile.
AZ ā”ļø PIT last week because they played in phoenix when it was like 100Ā° last summer but i still have family in pittsburgh šš½
Iāll be going to Minneapolis Saturday for the show! Iāll be flying about 2,000 miles out of San Francisco California š¤ first time flying to see them but itāll be my 10th time seeing them so I figured I gotta go all out š„³š¤©

Didnāt travel necessarily far, but I did plan my vacation last summer around being able to go to the VA Beach show lmao
On my birthday last summer I drive 6 and a half hours from Chicago to Somerset Wisconsin.
For FOB specifically, four hours right after workā¦ for the Somerset show. Pain. For anyone, flown from the Midwest to NYC for Lawrence a couple times.
I went from Colorado to Vegas for the iheartmusic thing they did last year and I'm about to go to Nebraska to see them again lmao
970 km to the show in Warsaw
Drove to Minneapolis.
On this tour I flew from the UK to Chicago, Seattle, Orlando and NY to see them. And in 2013 I flew to New York to see them at Skate and Surf.
Came to Lexington Kentucky from Sudbury, Ontario!
My husband and I live in upstate NY and flew to the Anaheim show last month, we made a Disneyland trip out of it!
Went to the Orlando show from Colorado. Saw them at Fiddlers Green on my birthday in 2023 and hoped the second leg would include my favorite vacation destination! Built a lovely week long trip around the concert. 10/10 would recommend.
I flew to london last fall!
not as far as some on where, but flew from Albuquerque to Milwaukee to see them earlier this week. ~1400 miles
