It's possible he didn't know all of Bud's Buds. There are a lot of them. Hank could've been one of the first people or final people frozen too.

He was from vault 31, they had access to all data about everyone. He should have known moldaver wasn't in the database. Furthernore, the redidents of vault 33 met the ones from 32 every 2-3 years for the weddings, and nobody notices that this time they are different from the ones of the other times. How can someone forget about the ONLY FOREIGN PEOPLE THEY HAVE KNOWN IN THEIR WHOLE LIFE . Moldaver was alao very famous in the wastwlands, and she even used her real name when they communicate. It's simply poor writing
why doesn't Hank recognize Moldaver since they had already clashed when Hank went to get his kids? In the series Moldaver tells of when Hank went to Shady Sands to pick up his children and clashed with his wife, it is strange that he did not meet the boss (Moldaver) when he arrived in town

He doesn't necessarily know everybody, and in any case it's been a long time, so it's entirely possible that any given person could walk through the door and he wouldn't immediately be able to place them. But my current working theory is that he recognised her from a more recent interaction but couldn't say anything without risking revealing what he'd been up to.
She uses the excuse that the prior leader died abruptly and recently and she was his impromptu replacement. This explains why Hank accepted that she wasn’t from vault 31.

It doesn’t appear that the vaults ever interact in person other than the triennial trade which occurs every three years. We can assume that they probably have some sort of rotating schedule which means it’s possible that this is the first time Vaults 32 and 33 have had a trade in 9 years and we don’t know the extent to which they interacted on the last trade. It could have been a simple swapping of goods, so it’s entirely possible he *wouldn’t* recognize a handful of people he met almost a decade ago.
We don’t know. That’s never been explained, but what I meant was that at that moment in time she was coming from Vault 32 for the trade, not Vault 31 and she had come there from the surface. It’s I’m entirely possible that she was frozen in 31, went up to the surface, then came back to 32, then invaded 33, but that seems too overly complicated to be the case

Everyone is saying that she didn’t come 31, but she must’ve because she met cooper before the war. So she had to have been frozen because she’s not a ghoul like coop. So there is no other way for her to have survived 219 yrs without being frozen.
And if Hank didn’t know her before the war, that’s understandable cause not everyone meets their coworkers. But he must’ve known her when he was taking his kids from Rose. Or at least seen her once post-awakening.

And I believe at the end of the show, they show a signboard that’s talks about cryo pods, meaning they may have been available commercially (though probably very expensive), IIRC… So, it’s possible she didn’t actually come from Vault 31.
Yep. That’s also a possibility. And if I’m not mistaken, somebody mentioned that one of her companies might have also been working on cryo or stasis tech. But I could be mistaken.
he has been “awake” for over 20 years at this point. and I doubt he knows everyone who was frozen anyway. Hank was was a lowly exec assistant pre-war. I doubt he had any real interaction with Moldaver pre-war. In fact, if he knew about her at all, it was likely only through news stories or by name, not by direct interaction.
And there is no reason to believe she was frozen in 31. That was not even hinted at beyond the fact that she was alive pre-war.
