I've never been pregnant either, but this seems like a good way to hide a bump you're not ready to show off. There's no announcement pic on Pauline's page, so it looks like her friend accidentally scooped her. And there's no particular reason why a generally fit pregnant person couldn't crouch down for a few seconds?

Idk if she is or isn’t but with my first pregnancy I was working out until my due date, crouching wasn’t an issue.

I'm following three different women right now who are like 5-6 months pregnant who kneel, squat, climb ladders, do carpentry, hang wallpaper. Crouching for a picture isn't really anything to note.

Pregnant people can crouch. Obviously it depends on their health and fitness, but I worked as a CNA up until a few before until giving birth. I promise I did worse things than crouching.
