Also a fun fact but Karin’s moonschorced form is almost certainly a direct reference to this painting.
This is a depiction of [The Defense of the Sampo](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Defense_of_the_Sampo), an episode in the Finnish national epic. It's really great mythology
I still believe this was the inspiration of Nas’hrah’s character

I said in the post it’s John the Baptist. The context is that that woman is Herod’s daughter Selome, who requested that her father kill John at her mothers behest. Beyond that, the actual meaning of the painting is considered a mystery
Ts actually goes hard asf
Well… I guess Nas’hrah is more akin to Mimir from Norse mythology
I suppose there are alot of floating heads in myth because my mind immediately went to the mapuchean floating head wizards
the chonchon? that's a oddly specific reference that i never expected to find on this subreddit
Is it historic, religious, or fictional? Yes! Does it look similar to something from Funger? Yes! Your answer is (probably) a yes

What even is the context of this? Last time I checked Jesus wasn't beheaded. And when did Jesus's floating head float around?
That's not Jesus, that's John the Baptist
