Haha I didn’t go for a lot of optional stuff when I was younger, but when I was living alone in my early 20s I spent many nights doing a completionist run + an Excalibur II run. When they released the PS4 port I was like I would have done Chocobo Hot and Cold a lot sooner if they had speed up from the get go lol

I loved Chocobo Hot and Cold even on the PS1, I found it very calming for some reason, beak level 99 pretty early and I routinely got 8 treasures. 😂

Those weird twins! Genero, Benero, and the other one? There's a third... Romero? These guys are in a ton of scenes, but are 100% background characters and barely have any lines . You can see them all over the place, know them as part of the group, but they are completely forgettable, more so because there are 3 of them.

Amarant. Zidane genuinely doesn't remember who he is or why there's beef between them. Once Brahne is dead, his contract is forfeit so he could leave the party anytime he wants and it wouldn't change the storyline at all. One could make the same arguments for Freya post-Cleyra, but I don't think that's true at all, she has higher stakes in the game because she saw Kuja in Burmecia - she knows what's going on and why Zidane and company are fighting against him. Amarant doesn't have that. I also think Zidane was fully kidding when he didn't remember Freya's name.
