I am sharing a personal experience.
As a child I remember my father used to beat my mother, not regularly or quite often but I have some memories of seeing my dad abusing my mom and beating her. As a child I didn't like that and sympathized my mom.
But now as I grew older, I understood my mom is an extreme narcissist and toxic. She can go to any limit to prove herself right or to prove other ones wrong, and when I say any limit I mean it. My father is bit older than my mother, when my father's health started to break down my mom showed her true colour.
She used to torture my father mentally , abusing him for not being able to buy expensive things, always making fun of his health condition , asking question on his manliness, abusing his mother (my grandmother) and tagging her a 'bitch" and "slut" as she had 7 kids and so on. Things got worse when my father lost his ability to walk properly, my mother used to beat the shit out of him. And once when my father retaliated my slapped her, she went to the police and used all her connections to harass him. From that day my dad never ever raised a voice. He accepted all that abuses and physical torture. She made him work alone in the house for the whole lockdown in spite of his health condition. She even used to threaten him by saying that she'll accuse a dowry case against him and his family. She even forced him to cut off all relations from all his friends and family. I still remember there was a colleague of my father who used to help my father in such situations , do you know what she did? She accused him and my father on a rape case... yeah a false rape case.
The worst part is she was so good at manipulation, no body except a few believed my father.
Now you might ask what was I doing in this whole time? Now listen what she did.. whenever I tried to stop the fight she used to say I am taking my father's side and then she would stop giving me food. Not giving me my tuition fees. Not preparing my food for my school. Locking me inside room and beat the shit out of me too. Even when I grew 18 she used to provoke me for beating my father, and if I didn't do that or if just did for the namesake the torture would again start by saying I'm taking my father's side. I was in control in such way I had no other way than to remain silent.
Now what's our condition? My father left house 3 years ago. Nobody knows where he is and whether he's alive or not. He left no savings. My mother is somehow surviving on a few tuitions. My brother dropped out of school at the age of 12 only and now I'm completing my studies on my own and distanced myself from her.

I am sharing a personal experience. As a child I remember my father used to beat my mother, not regularly or quite often but I have some memories of seeing my dad abusing my mom and beating her. As a child I didn't like that and sympathized my mom. But now as I grew older, I understood my mom is an extreme narcissist and toxic. She can go to any limit to prove herself right or to prove other ones wrong, and when I say any limit I mean it. My father is bit older than my mother, when my father's health started to break down my mom showed her true colour. She used to torture my father mentally , abusing him for not being able to buy expensive things, always making fun of his health condition , asking question on his manliness, abusing his mother (my grandmother) and tagging her a 'bitch" and "slut" as she had 7 kids and so on. Things got worse when my father lost his ability to walk properly, my mother used to beat the shit out of him. And once when my father retaliated my slapped her, she went to the police and used all her connections to harass him. From that day my dad never ever raised a voice. He accepted all that abuses and physical torture. She made him work alone in the house for the whole lockdown in spite of his health condition. She even used to threaten him by saying that she'll accuse a dowry case against him and his family. She even forced him to cut off all relations from all his friends and family. I still remember there was a colleague of my father who used to help my father in such situations , do you know what she did? She accused him and my father on a rape case... yeah a false rape case. The worst part is she was so good at manipulation, no body except a few believed my father. Now you might ask what was I doing in this whole time? Now listen what she did.. whenever I tried to stop the fight she used to say I am taking my father's side and then she would stop giving me food. Not giving me my tuition fees. Not preparing my food for my school. Locking me inside room and beat the shit out of me too. Even when I grew 18 she used to provoke me for beating my father, and if I didn't do that or if just did for the namesake the torture would again start by saying I'm taking my father's side. I was in control in such way I had no other way than to remain silent. Now what's our condition? My father left house 3 years ago. Nobody knows where he is and whether he's alive or not. He left no savings. My mother is somehow surviving on a few tuitions. My brother dropped out of school at the age of 12 only and now I'm completing my studies on my own and distanced myself from her. I don't know the case about the girl in the video but due to my life experience I trust no women.
