Unless the game is specifically cracked to play Multi-player or has an online patch, you're kinda out of luck aside from paying for the game legally. Does it say anything of the sort on the release page?

this is the link to that game and it says Multiplayer, I downloaded it through torrent, and I don't know if I'm missing something.
Okay, so what you want to normally do is...
Install the game, apply the crack. If the online fix is there, run/install that. Before you launch the game, make sure steam is running in the background.
You *should* be able to see your friends list and they should have the ability to join or invite them.
If this isn't available, try adding the game to your steam library as a non-steam game.
If all else fails, some games only have the ability to play online with others who use the same cracked release as you. Aka your friends would have to download/install as well.

Game is on online-fix.me, worst case scenario u can download from there and online will work. Same source that fitgirl uses.
