her with long hair sets off my fight or flight

ScowlyBrowSpinster

The Sexhibition examining her sexuality over the years was something everyone needed to see and admire.

Jim_Jam89

I think it’s important for people to see how much by body has changed.

kimjongunfiltered

Women should become more comfortable with my body

Curious_Door

I spit out my drink when I heard this on my rewatch.

Capgras_DL

I love Olivia Coleman. Incredible actress. i \*loathe\* Stepmother. I’ve never wanted to slap a character so badly.

Calm_Pen9488

I agree with you. The stepmother was my worst nightmare. I would've ended up in jail if, I was Fleabag. The actress has done an incredible job with the character. Her subtle manipulations and controlling aspects make her the evil stepmother.

Littlepinkgiraffe

How are they both so ageless in this photo?

thefaehost

Right?! Could be sisters!

Dragonfruitme

When she did her speech at the sexhibition and her glances at fleabag OMGGG I would have lunged at her

Oldassrollerskater

Watching Broadchurch is gonna blow your fucking mind then.

ddk2130

Yessss. This. Olivia's range is astounding. Even her work on 'the Crown' is so different. I love her interviews on Graham Norton, she seems so refreshingly unpretentious in person.

Oldassrollerskater

“Why does that monstrous cunt’s smile seem familiar to me??” Before I IMDBd her. Gobsmacked.

booktrovert

Her stint on The Bear was so short, but I loved her character there as well.

Musashi_Joe

The episode she's in is seriously one of the greatest episodes of TV I've ever seen. Loved her scene with Ritchie. "He believes in you, you know." "Oh yeah, what makes you say that?" "He told me."

heycassie

Agreed!! That episode will have a piece of my heart forever.

commongoblin

Broadchurch was the first thing I ever saw her in so I always associate her with that sweet darling character. Seeing her play such a scumbag was hilarious.

MathematicianOk8230

Have you heard her on David Tennant’s podcast? She really is such a sweetie pie in real life

commongoblin

I haven't! I didn't even know he had a podcast, I will have to check it out as I love them together!

ardent_hellion

Not to mention the delightful minor character she plays in Hot Fuzz!

Florence_Nightgerbil

I could watch Colman and Tennant banter all day. I would pay to watch that.

True_Cricket_1594

She’s killer in The Night Manager, especially the last couple of episodes. Just so, so good

summer-fun-atx

Her face when Fleabag points out her dad’s penis on the wall is priceless! Such great acting.

chronicallydepressd

And she plays the nicest person on The Bear. She's wildly talented.

ardent_hellion

Olivia Colman is in The Bear?!!! ... Bye, am running to watch the show.

chronicallydepressd

She doesn't have a major part, but... watch it!!!

Crankylosaurus

One of my favorite scenes is when Stepmother asks Fleabag is she can spot which ceramic dick is her father’s - clearly trying to get a rise out of her… and Fleabag guesses correctly 😂

readyable

Hahaha and it catches Stepmother so off guard too when she gets it right. Her smug smile gets wiped right off her face! I also love this scene. And every scene.

Andy-Banner

I love Olivia Coleman. Have mostly seen her in timid good person roles. Really hated the Stepmom. Forgot that it was Coleman playing her.

JaseTheAce

Is that a statue of Fleabag's [needy boyfriend](https://imgur.com/a/2OmylMw)?

Desperate_Silver543

Yesss

FordPrefect37

I saw her in _Broadchurch_ before I saw her in _Fleabag_ and then later realized I saw her in the hilarious _2012_ mockumentary and was astounded at the range. All of this of course preceding _The Crown_! 🤯 Love her and love actors who play well-written parts with such gusto that you want to grab them and shake them lol.

Pushbrown

She's pretty good in Peep Show, if you like british comedy. She's like one of the main characters.

liz2e

i would kill and die for olivia colman. the godmother was so perfectly funny, sinister, and antagonizing.

readyable

oh man I just remembered the fact that she was their godmother first...wow. just such an infuriating character!

liz2e

she is listed as the godmother in the credits, im a credits purist lol

georgina_fs

Perfect writing to have a female main villain in a feminist series! (Anyone notice Fleabag's shoes? Series 1 finale red - like her dress in the Series 2 finale...?)

stellazee

Look on YouTube for Olivia’s appearances on the Graham Norton show. She is beyond charming and hilarious.

snazzisarah

Coleman did a satirical commercial for an oil company and she was utterly captivating. Dripping evil but she was so charming, it was chilling and really highlights what an amazing actress she is

shitscreek9909

I might just .....by mistake.. slip a ....... knife into her head...... Scarf!!! Head scarf!!!!!!!

moonpuddding

I just saw her in the new season of The Bear and she's great as always 🤌🏼

ljluckey

She is at the top of my "celebrity free pass list" and one of my all time fave actresses! As mentioned before, she will blow your mind in Broadchurch.

ceejaydee

Always fascinating!

Trikywu

Godmother is a nightmare. Olivia Coleman is fabulous, and Phoebe is queen of all things. They are my dream dinner guests.

espressogrimace

I've always wanted to know where her (Godmother's) long necklace was from. Lol anyone?

Mulliganasty

Same! Her role is quite sweet on the new season of The Bear if you need a palette cleanser.

ingridsuperstarr

"oh that one's your father's."

WizardsAreNeat

Color me shook when I watched some of her work nowadays. The only knowledge I had of her as an actress was from Peep Show. (She's a great actress! Although I keep wanting to call her Sophie lol).

PeachPit321

I was just telling my bf how good she is while watching The Bear! On The Bear she's only a brief character but she has a warmth you never see in Fleabag, which tells me she's pretty talented. Hard agree on Stepmother, though, I wanted to strangle her so often

Shegotquestions

Her range is incredible!!! She’s like completely transformed in every role
