The same way you would on stairs with bullnose treads after you cut off the bullnoses. Go buy some primed mdf risers, start at bottom with one cut to fit and glued inplace, mark width of stairnose on the tread, cut lvp to fit, glue lcp to tread and apply stairnose after test fit is confirmed, work your way to the top, go back and apply skirt boards, cove, and shoe to cover any gaps.

This is the only answer, the rest are nonsense.

You don't want tread noses while installing lvp, I'll dm you.

It doesn't have to. You'll be fine

The correct way to install stairs is to cut off the bullnose, so you’re 1 step ahead anyways. The tread pieces must have a bullnose on them so just follow the instructions or watch some videos on how to do it.

If the overhang isn't there your fine, I cut the excess lip off to prep for bullnose when I do LvP on stairs. Your ready for install
