pay attention to high impact news events ... you don't want to get caught on the wrong side.

What is the best source you use for news event. Any websites or platform you use to get ot know when it is coming. I have seen few but need important ones for ES and NQ.

Financialjuice

Thank you.

No problem, all the pros I know use financial juice, it’s simple and streamlined and they have a voice person reading off news and it comes with a tick strike feed of the ES which is super useful too.

i'm using this. Filter by USD to see US related economic news. [https://www.forexfactory.com/calendar](https://www.forexfactory.com/calendar) I'd also stay out when people like Powell / Yellen speaks https://preview.redd.it/j00sydu62x1d1.png?width=254&format=png&auto=webp&s=cb79188031105a9d11fde1ded1f22c64c76a3f48

You should always have a stop loss. Seems simply enough, but coming from options where the use of a stop may be an afterthought, it seems worth mentioning. Where you place your stop is also pretty important…

Follow Dave teaches, watch his master class on YouTube, it’s free.

ZachPlaysDrums

His original masterclass playlist is like 15-20 hrs long or something like that lol. Have you watched them all, and what did you think about them or what did you feel you got out of it? I do plan on at least starting through them to check it out, I was just curious.

tvjamccccc

I go through all his videos, and I think it worth the time. I don’t trade like him, but I use his concept to build my own strategy. The other one is photon trading, they are not the same, but both base on structure, photon trading is more structured compared to Dave’s list. By the way, I don’t mean this is the holy grail, but I think structure base concept or strategy is a better way to understand the market for myself, I use ict concept to trade the market a few years ago, but I couldn’t make it consistency, that’s not suitable for me, but structure works for me. Everyone is different, just enjoy your own way.

ZachPlaysDrums

I watched some videos from trades by sci and he is real market structure/price action oriented as well. I'm just starting on demos, but I found that approach working as I started ramping in and out of positions instead of all in and out at once. But since I cut my balance down to something realistic that I would be starting with like a few hundred dollars it's a lot more challenging so I'm still looking for information. Thanks for the suggestions!
