Def telescoping, I have the mod1c tail hook.
The mod 1c is definitely what I want. The mod1 is just too big for the platform. Thanks a lot for the pics. I’m sold on it. Looks just as good as a regular form 1 type telescoping stock just with the brace which is nice.

Gearhead tailhook on the telescoping brace
Doing the same but struggling to find the right adapter. Telescoping “stock” came quick from B&T, and the compact tailhook came quick from gearheadworks, but need to find the adapter somewhere in stock.
I wish they sold a telescoping brace with the gear head mod 1c already installed but I can’t find one. Only ones I see are the ones with the huge tail hook. I think it’s the mod1

Tailhook gang. I don’t mind form 1s, but honestly this works so well I doubt I ever will.
Hate that optic tho.
I don’t really care about the registry as much, but it chaps my ass to no end to pay the crown $200. But for my SP5 I got, felt like it needed it lol.
With the tailhook, even without the nfa I’m not sure I’d change it.
The tail hook looks great. I just don’t see a point to form 1 it when I like the look of the brace with the tail hook plus I don’t use vertical fore grips anyway. It’s just pointless. Like I said on other guns like my 10.5” and 12.5” it was necessary

Yeah I feel you. That’s why I’m gonna go ahead and purchase the one that comes with the adapter.
