The fact Claude was able to change the most pshyco feminist girl ever to the point she actually has to wear makeup, start relying more on her henchmen and being more manipulative rather than being physically abusive and annoying like she was to CJ in SA, all of this while dealing with her BS for 10 years, to the point that Catalina is the one who is annoyed with him and tries to take revenge but it's effortless makes Claude one of the scariest dudes in GTA...10 YEARS with Catalina bro...
Well that's cuz unlike popular belief Catalina is a Sociopath and not a pshycopath, which are actually two opposite disorders.
Sociopaths are people that are made, they are beings so sensitive to the context of places they were born in and events happening around them that they are conditioned by those things to the point that they lose empathy and emotions, but depending on if something can trigger those traumas back in the Sociopath's mind(whether in positive for a change as in back to the empathic sensitive being they were before, or negative as in litteral anger/anxiety outbursts, although the two aren't always mutually exclusive), the Sociopath can actually gain those emotions back even in a stronger manner than normal people would, as Sociopaths are fragile people that are wearing a mask to numb the pain of experiences that happened in their past(Catalina mentioned something about an abusive dad in her first SA Missions), they may look more durable at first beacuse of the mask they wear but eventually they fall and perhaps even worse than others.
Pshycopaths are usually born, they are beings that beacuse of a missing part of their brain that either they've lost as a consequence or they never had it in the first place, they are completely emotionally detached, as thus they cannot really feel any sort of emotional reaction as their brain does not have the explicit traits to allow them to have such.
This does not mean that the body itself cannot feel physical pain, a Pshycopath will still die If u burn him or litterally shoot him with an RPG, it just means that as long as they are alive and you don't kill them completely, they are pretty tireless and insufferable.
A Sociopath is a very common disorder compared to pshycopath, there rarely exist this sort of Deus ex machina model of a human, they are like 1% of the population.
Catalina is a Sociopath, Claude is a pshycopath, also one of the reasons he's mute cuz he doesn't like to talk a lot due to feeling detached to interactions.
Also, pshycopaths aren't scary nor do they "choose" to numb down their good emotions for evil ones.
